I'd say they're probably supposed to be orange, since orange is blue's complimentary colour.
Also, fuck the world if its a gamestop preorder bonus, I really want it, but I don't even know if there are gamestops anywhere near me.

Three one and two were within a month. I bought Snake Eater in october and then decided to by the first two and therefore have all of them.

I played the series last year. My order was 1 (PS1 Classic), 2, 3 (both on HD Collection), and 4. Still haven't touched the two originals or the portable games.

There are constantly new people who are getting into the series.

Everyone should give MGS a go, and it's a good thing that the series continues to expand because more people will be interested in the older games.
Seriously, I have a deep love for the original MGS. The voice acting, the music, the sounds, everything was just awesome.
I was really looking forward to twin snakes until I played it and they completely ditched everyone's accents and put in some weird and totally unfitting music, and the painful and full of cheese anime/matrix hybrid cutscenes.
I just beat vamp in MGS2, I was surprised at how easy it was compared to his fight in MGS4(then again, he's easy then if you know what to do). I kept falling into the damn water though. I knew some supernatural shit was going to happen but I wasn't expecting him to pin my shadow
I just beat MGS2, I thought the long fucking cinematic meant I beat the game, turns out beating multiple RAYs at once wasn't the final boss battle
im on the ray battle right now its manageable but my god its so fucking annoying that the only weapon you can use against rays requires you to be stationary but you have to dodge a hundred missiles every second

I played MGS2 on Normal and I thought that the RAY part was piss easy.
Didn't use chaffs either.
Just dodge, shoot legs, shoot face, repeat.
yaay finally beat mgs2, that ending fight was the coolest shit ever though the whole ending hour or so was just a huge mindfuck.
MGS 2 is the most fucked up of all the games, which is really saying quite a lot.
And not just because of Arsenal, there's a shitton of seriously weird things much earlier than that.
When I beat it the first time my mind pretty much shut off during the next couple of hours.
