I have not yet played Peace Walker, I just have the HD collection sitting near my PS3, can it compare at all to MGS3?

That depends on what you're rating it on, but it is one of the best in the series. No more questions, go and play it. You have no excuses.
Should i get MGS3 HD or Peace Walker HD for my ps3?

I'm just disappointed by the lack of say, the twin snakes.

Unfortunately Nintendo didn't allow it to happen since it was only released on the Gamecube. That's what I heard, anyway.

Any version of mgs would fine considering i had to buy the ps1 classics version separately.
twin snakes sssssssucked
twin snakes sssssssucked
the gameplay was better brah
the cutscenes/story elements were more in line with the latter games as in completely fucking mental
Cheaper to get the collection than the games seperate
its like $30 to $40 here. figured it would be cheaper to buy one of them on the psn store.
twin snakes sssssssucked
i haven't played a lot of twin snakes, but it seems like it would be the better game if it had the same 80's synthey music of the original instead of the new orchestral score. fuckin bullshit.
everything else is pretty much the same apart from better voice acting and snake occasionally doing flips
David Hayter gave up half his paycheck so they could rehire all the actors from MGS1 to reprise their roles.
Except for Gray Fox, he got rob paulsen.
I still think the voice acting is better in the original. Snake sounds much more natural and not forced in the original. That may just be because I'm so used to it and have only played TS once.
I like the theory that twin snakes is a movie based on the Shadow Moses Incident.
Rex you mother fucker.
How do i avoid those missiles jesus.

welcome to the club
for the first phase just chaff and run towards rex and that should dodge them

really? why did everyone lose their accents in twin snakes?
When Rex shoots the missles run towards him. They'll most likely land just behind you. Then you just gotta dodge his machine gun attack, shoot at him, then run towards him again.

I dont know, in Mei Lings case it makes sense, but for the others not really.

Mother fucke-The other games did not prepare me for the amount of times i would need to use chaff grenades in this game.
I like, never needed to in the other games.

These missiles are bullshit.
[editline]13th January 2013[/editline]
Okay, found a really good tactic.
Fire a missile at liquid, run under his legs and behind, wait until he's in the blue, repeat.
Booom.
After the end of MGS1, post credits, with the whole Solidus phone call, and the other "aborted" 5, it made me wonder, are there anymore secret terrible children running around?
The other 5 were aborted to ensure the twins were more pure or something.
[editline]13th January 2013[/editline]
Although, that can easily be retconned. Imagine if for MGS5 if some of the bosses you fight in Outer Heaven were actually the rejected clones.

Liquid said there was 6 clones aborted to make the twins pure, but then we learn about Solidus, thats when i started thinking.

Yeah, I just stayed under him and hoped he didn't step on me. That, and chaffs.
Also I'm playing MGS2 right now, and I don't hate Raiden as much as I thought I would, he is whiny and green unlike snake but he's not that bad.

Have some fun, take a shot every time Raiden or the colonel mentions VR training.

Challenge accepted.
i think you would be dead if you took a drink everytime someone says namomachines in mgs 4
If I started this game earlier in MGS2, I'd be absolutely smashed right now.
They haven't mentioned VR for awhile.

Oh just you wait.
Apparently theres going to be a wooden sword in MGR: Revengeance for no kill runs.
That, combined with the alert system and the cardboard box, and you might be able to use stealth as a legit way to play the game.

I'm going to assume that Raiden is still using Olga's sword, if so, then shouldn't you be able to use the back as a non lethal weapon?
But if it's a different sword never mind, Raiden just seems like the kind of guy who would keep that sword.
