It's six months before he dies of the FOXDIE that is soon to mutate and make him a bioweapon, but [sp]the new FOXDIE stopped that from happening. It would eventually go through the same process but Snake's got a few months to live anyway so it won't happen.[/sp]

It's the voice acting that does it for me, it's so bad it's funny. The best part is when he was chopping up the police guy that says "Aw, fuck me!" I hope those are evil police and Raiden's not just on some lame rampage.

Looks like I'll be picking this up on day one, loved Bayonetta, and this looks like it'll be just as good.
So in MGR Raiden is going by Jack the Ripper again? The name that almost made him have a mental breakdown in MGS2?
If you can get the MGS1 PC version to work, it has first person shooting.

The ZOE one was just the tutorial i believe, the demo comes with the first level demo everyone showing and the tutorial.

From what I've seen it's highly unlikely. I still think it's obvious from the onset that they're just slapping the license onto it for the sake of it. Rather than properly trying to build up the image of the IP.
If it's not written by Kojima (I doubt it is I mean he feels like he wasted time on the whole thing anyways) then it's not going to be all that good.

Unfortunately no, you still have to aim with directional buttons in the absence of any mouse aiming or weapon models in first-person.
But on the flip side, at least you get some anti-aliasing I guess:

The stream that BeardyDuck posted last page just finished playing through Portable Ops. Even though I've not played through it, I've at least seen what happens and all the cutscenes now.

I enjoyed Vanquish, and Anarchy Reigns is so far proved to be very enjoyable. I think Platinum are going to deliver, although i've really not been paying too much attention with MGR.
I dont like the parrying system of MGR at all, but otherwise its fun.

Terrible directing. Everything was way too exaggerated, and that's saying something for metal gear. Robbed it of any poignancy.
