Im guessing once the Demo is released in the other regions (january 22nd, or rather, this coming tuesday) we'll be able to get MGS4 raiden this way too.
I'm assuming the demo coming out next week is the same demo from the Zone of the Enders HD Collection?
I watched a video of it on youtube, look neat, I'll download the demo when it comes out and try it my self.

tbh i think i like mgs2 & 3 equally just as much
i still don't like mgs4 much because it just felt like a massive fanservice, they brought back so many boring and useless characters and the pre-credits ending was so cheesy it made me want to kill myself

Everything else i thought was wrong in MGS4 would've made it my least favorite of the (then) 5 MGS games.
Except for:
The Rex/Ray battle.
The Ocelot fight.

Just speaking for myself, i think that 3 was the most enjoyable as a game, but i like 4 the most as an addition to the franchise. It rounded off the story of Solid Snake and the others very well in the end. Forgetting "nanomachines".
Nanomachines is the only problem i have with the game.

To be fair, all of the MGS games have something thats just awful.
In MGS1 it was liquids gene talk, in MGS2 it was the whole ending (not awful, but mind hurting), in MGS3 it was the EVA escort mission, in MPO it was having to drag people to the truck, in MGS4 it was nanomachines, in MGS:PW it was the build-up (outer ops) to the battle with ZEKE.
mgs2's writing was amazing and so was the ending.

I don't see how you thought this was bad. EVA can handle the soldiers herself and if she gets tired then I just killed one of the 50 snakes in the map and just fed it to her. Not to mention the whole trip to the WIG process took like 5 minutes.

If MGR is ported to PC, it would be awesome if it came with an SDK of some sort, or a map editor.
I dunno, i just think theres a lot of creative ways to make levels involving the cutting mechanic and some stealth.
I wish there was some sort of training thing for MGS3 to let you get a feel for cqc without slitting throats. I always just do cqc throws since I don't want to murder people. Wish they had a remap function or rebound the slit throat key for hd editio.
All of those new control features ( such as toggle wall press, separate button for throat slit) would be nice to have in MGS3
Also, is there a way to get the MSF t shirt for PW without having to buy a PSP and PW for the PSP? Can people gift with that gifting thing?
Oh and one more question, what is that black undershirt thing BB wears in 3 and PW?

Remember what Raiden is wearing in the trailers showing him protecting N'Mani? Yeah, unlockable.

I don't think it is a sneaking suit thing, I think it is like under armor ( the clothing not armor under shirts) or a body glove of some kind
It's pretty much just some basic body armor adapted for sneaking conditions. Obviously they went all out with it in MGS5/GZ.

Never seen body armor like that before, interesting. Though what BB is wearing in GZ is the MSF sneaking suit

Obviously it's not necessarily realistic but it's definitely armor of some kind. A precursor to the ones Snake used in MGS1 and maybe Raiden's in MGS2.
Then again, you could argue it's purely stealth suit of some kind since BB was supposed to be the kind that would sneak past all he could and be as non-lethal as possible.

I just got a used MGS4, got all excited at basically finishing the current series, popped it into my PS3, got the the update screen, and then it fucked off and decided not to work while my PS3 decided to make stupid noises to taunt me.
I am beyond butthurt.
You know what pissed me off?
Having a powercut during the wedding scene in Mgs4.
Then my brother accidentally deleting a few games data.
Then getting to shadow moses before my HDD was corrupted.
And now starting the game just before downloading the trophy and full install update.
I am currently fighting Raven with no trophies.
I have still yet to see "This is good...isn't it?". This time, i will.
Not sure why people are saying MGS4 completely retconned everything paranormal, did they miss the scene where [sp]Psycho Mantis came back as a ghost and The Sorrow sent him back to the afterlife?[/sp]
