I recall that if you get back into the torture device in Arsenal Gear, when a guard inspects he will sometimes look down on you and say: "I wish a had that." I guess Rose had some benefits in her job then.
You know it's funny, I played MGS2 on PC at one point when I was younger, and there were supposed to be black letterboxing covering up his junk during the scene where he first wakes up. Thing is, the letterboxing wasn't there. I could see everything. (not much to look at, he's a ken doll)
Having never played the original MSG im trying to decide weather I should play MGS or The Twin Snakes. I've heard mixed comments about TTS so I'm not sure which to go with.
id play the original. the music is so much cooler at the very least
The original is a classis, worth your time, but i would say, play TTS aswell, if you get the chance, it can hold itself up on its own. I personaly loved TTS, sure, it had some over the top cutscenes, but by that time in the story and games released (Metal Gear Solid 2/3) over the top things, were kinda becoming the norm.
A friend of mine really wants to get into the series, and he saw me playing Rising just when [sp]Raiden takes that giant ass sword and starts to cut that metal gear at the end[/sp], he said that was really over the top and that he was glad nothing like this happens on the Solid series, to which I replied: "Dude, you should see what he does on 4!" [sp]outer haven, practically blocking a fucking nuclear ship :v:[/sp]. I must admit that was the wrong move, since he lost a little interest on playing the series :v:
I personaly loved TTS, sure, it had some over the top cutscenes
yeah, i got TTS recently. [sp]I lol'd when snake did a backflip off of the missile[/sp]
beat revengeance yesterday shame its such a short game, it was really fun
I don't know if anyone else has posted about this, but on the official facebook page for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, this was posted 5 days ago:
Sure thing, "original".
What are the odds of Kojima suddenly accepting Rising as canon?
Sure thing, "original".
original? what?
[sp]How do I stop Armstrong from healing?[/sp]
[sp]How do I stop Armstrong from healing?[/sp]
[sp]He has this glowing green thing on his back, attack that.[/sp]
[sp]He has this glowing green thing on his back, attack that.[/sp]
Much appreciated good sir.
What are the odds of Kojima suddenly accepting Rising as cannon?
it is canon
Canon guys, cannons are the things that fire stuff It would be nice to get a game about Gray Fox though, like Kojima originally wanted to do.
What are the odds of Kojima suddenly accepting Rising as cannon?
Kojima Productions handled the story
I'd really like to see a game/some levels centered around Otacon you fuck around in a lab for a bit and then nukes and you piss yourself then run around a base in full undetectable camo gotyay
What are the odds of Kojima suddenly accepting Rising as cannon?
Spin-off =/= Non-canon
Oh, I see, thanks for correcting me.
Dear developers, stop including your fucking stupid stick-waggling micro-game when I get stunned, it never fucking works Apart from that gripe which I've had with every game ever, Rising is great fun so far.
Dear developers, stop including your fucking stupid stick-waggling micro-game when I get stunned, it never fucking works Apart from that gripe which I've had with every game ever, Rising is great fun so far.
It's like they want you to wear out that stick's axis so when you're playing any other game it feels really weird buttonmashing is better, triggermashing even more, and why not use the sixaxis features for that
I want to know the story of the cardboard box... I bet his story is just amazing.
Dear developers, stop including your fucking stupid stick-waggling micro-game when I get stunned, it never fucking works Apart from that gripe which I've had with every game ever, Rising is great fun so far.
During one fight on my first run I had to escape stuns so much that I felt like I was bruising my palm.
I want to know the story of Dirty Duck he's the most fascinating character in the series
sundowner was annoying until you figure out to slice off the explosive plates. Mistral was definitely the easiest for me, she went down like swiss cheese. Monsoon was pretty easy too. Sam was bullshit levels of annoying. Fuck those melee attacks that he starts springing out of nowhere without telegraphing them
That's the thing about Sundowner, if you cut his shields off, it just makes the fight a little harder. Leaving them up makes it a straight-forward parry>attack fight all the way to 0%. [editline]26th February 2013[/editline]
Dear developers, stop including your fucking stupid stick-waggling micro-game when I get stunned, it never fucking works Apart from that gripe which I've had with every game ever, Rising is great fun so far.
Yea, I hate anything that involves rapidly moving the joystick, because I can NEVER do it with my thumb. I always end up palming it with my right hand.
So I finished Hard mode, and thought "oh I guess I'll try Very Hard, I think I can do it". Oh my god what is this even. I can't even beat the first boss.
[sp]Oh god that weaboo guard[/sp]
buttonmashing is better, triggermashing even more, and why not use the sixaxis features for that
yeah, buttonmashing is way more immersive. take modern warfare 2 for example [sp]when you have to pull that knife out of your chest at the end, you have to buttonmash like crazy and it actually feels like you're struggling to pull the knife out.[/sp]
Is there a way to change the difficulty without finishing the whole game on the currently selected difficulty?
Is there a way to change the difficulty without finishing the whole game on the currently selected difficulty?
Yes, from the title screen choose story, then chapter. You can select the chapter you want to start with, and you can choose any difficulty that you have beaten it on previously.
