Gah still can't chain 6 knock-outs in a row.
Gah still can't chain 6 knock-outs in a row.
Motherfucker I chained twenty once.
Motherfucker I chained twenty once.
It's not slow reactions or anything, I just accidentally knock out the others when I throw the first guy.
Completed MGS2 again a few days ago and I got the Bat rank. I feel like I did pretty well considering I wasn't really aiming for a no-alert run. I'm going through MGS3 now and last time I played that was the snake eater version on the PS2, I'm finding so much stuff that I've never found back then, it's like a whole new experience. And I don't have any alerts yet either. I wonder how it feels to know the enemy has been in your own base but you've never even seen him.

And if that's the case, then why were some of the things in peacewalker not changed or removed? They did it from Japanese Peace Walker to US Peace Walker, when dorito's and mountain dew were in the game.
Getting The End's camo is so easy. I thought it would be difficult.

CQC is in full as it was before (With button combos ala MGS4 replacing pressure sensitivity). My Xbox experience is identical to my original PS2 experience so far. And the product replacement removal in western Peace Walker was probably because they were afraid of potential backlash from the western gaming community over product placement. And him having his back to the player as he entered new sniping positions didn't help him.
Several things were removed from Subsistence, but that was across both consoles I believe. -Posters Changed -Nightmare Sequence Removed -Duel Mode Removed -Snake vs Ape Mode Removed -Metal Gear Online Removed -Secret Theatre Removed [editline]15th March 2012[/editline] There are also some more little changes http://thesnakesoup.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5634&start=255
I forgot how bad some of the dialogue was in MGS2. While the game is still great it has a lot of hilariously bad parts.
Nevermind Just read above.
we managed to avoid drowning
I didn't manage to find it until my third playthrough and I found it by mistake. You have to do some climbing and stuff
it's not even that, it's fairly easy to find if you manage to find where it's actually located which is an incredibly out of the way spot. the gun itself is EXACTLY what i was looking for though. i'm a giant fan of this gun in general.
Why is snake always aiming his gun in MGS3 if it's equipped? Is it a bug?
Why is snake always aiming his gun in MGS3 if it's equipped? Is it a bug?
Holding up the gun happens when you press lightly, might be your controller acting up.
Holding up the gun happens when you press lightly, might be your controller acting up.
I'm playing on xbox, which I thought the controllers didn't have pressured buttons except for the L and R triggers.

The sensitive shooting control is just annoying in my opinion. I would prefer combos
The t-shirt arrived and it fits so perfectly. I must have a japanese size body.
The sensitive shooting control is just annoying in my opinion. I would prefer combos
The only problem I really have with the pressure sensitive controls is that in MGS3 snake has a tendency to cut people's throats right after I grab them because I press the grab button too hard or something.
-Nightmare Sequence Removed
I wondered why that got removed, it was the first thing i really noticed and i spent like, 20 minutes trying to get it to work.
Federal Hall... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I think the bigger problem in MGS2 isn't any of it's terribly written lines (Designed intentionally by Kojima to try to kill the series so he wouldn't be forced by Konami to keep making MGS, but we see how that worked out) But the big problem with MGS2 is: How the hell did noone react to a huge mech-sub in the middle of manhattan? Are people so reliant on the internet in MGS that word of mouth is non-existent and they forget without a million Facebook updates about it? Sure, the patriots can censor the internet, but they can't sensor a person's ability to talk. And this was before everyone was nano'd up to high hell in MGS4.
you're trying to make sense out of a mgs game good luck
Anyone remember the MGS3 teaser from years ago? with a Directors chair and Main Character chair, and Raiden and Snake/BB were fighting over it while shenanigans occurred and they played a laugh track? I've been trying to find it forever.

Also, the game was supposed to have a cutscene of the thing crashing, but due to 9/11, it was cut.

Just tried out PW for the first time. I feel sorry for Big Boss because he forgot how to crawl.
