Well I did the same, tried the triggers and all buttons, but on xbox I moved the right stick up and it worked, if you're on ps3 try one of the stics up, flowerpot.

Alright alright, it just seemed quite silly to me.
And all this time I felt like a leader, being the only big boss on the battlefield. Didn't realize I only looked like a shirtless masked man, in pink pantaloons.
Also is there a guide somewhere that shows you how to secure mechs? The only way I know of is, spamming "i'm counting on you" and "let's give 'em the silent treatment" to my co-op partners.
7 out of 10 times it works.
