So... they killed themselves. Fuck you Sorrow, stop being a dick.
I bet the Sorrow killed people too in the past.
Basically this was what my encounter with the Sorrow was like:
Actually no. The End is invisible to thermals. And to be honest the End sticks out like a sore thumb in HD.
No, he's not. He's just not as visible.
Speaking of The Sorrow, it took me ages when I first played to realize that you had to use the revival pill when you "died" at the end...
You can do this at any point to essentially skip it. I found that out on my first playthrough. :v:
Basically this was what my encounter with the Sorrow was like:
I did a "slit throat only" playthrough once, just for the sorrow fight :v: Oh man, I feel like playing it now, but I wanted to play with the 3D camera D:
It's sad that most of the weapons in MGS2 are only used once or twice throughout the whole game. The nikita section is a joke.

I never really get to use the M4 or the AK or even the RGB. And everything after that part up to Arsenal seems too fast. As if they cut a major part of the game there. I blame Emma, that parrot feeding brat.
Arsenal has to be one of my favorite video game stages of all time. That shit was fucking insane and incredibly fun.

It should had been bigger, and kept being (or even trying) to be weird.
"I'm calling a short recess -- on bombs." "You asked for it more bombs." Shortest recess ever
Just bought it on this past weekend. Add me to players? 360 gamertag- Sucaru67
Sorry about that, bloody step mum lost connection to wireless once again so I have to suffer...
If I catch a soldier with the fulton sys and he's like E in everything, can I just fire him? Or should I keep him for some reason I haven't seen yet? (still pretty early in the game)

"The president needs you, I think." Nah. He's just taken hostage...
Just bought it on this past weekend. Add me to players? 360 gamertag- Sucaru67
We're totaly doing amazing on Peace Walker....
"The president needs you, I think." Nah. He's just taken hostage...
"I NEED SCIZORS! 61!"
If anyone wants to play some peace walker with me on ps3 go ahead and add me; Jonni859
Use Retinal Scanner while guard watches "Retinal Pattern not Recogonized" Guard don't care
I don't see why the mercs would even be registered for it.
I don't see why the mercs would even be registered for it.
Maybe they hacked it?
I suppose so, seems like it would take a while to register your entire team on it though, all the while you have to watch for the US anti terrorism units.
Getting hit by [sp]sorrows[/sp] beam must be one of the most horrible things that can happen in mgs
One thing I really liked about MGS4 was it's controls. They were very easy to learn and very handy. Plus nothing makes me feel more like a badass than camouflaging myself by laying down on a bridge, then when some troops come, rolling on my back and blasting the everlasting shit out of them with a machine gun.
Getting hit by [sp]sorrows[/sp] beam must be one of the most horrible things that can happen in mgs
I remember having rented MGS3 around the time it was new, was up all night playing it and I kept getting hit by his beam. My heart was pounding so bad, even though it eventually was just pictures of dirt that were popping up. I am pretty good at hiding myself and sneaking around in MGS3, but in MGS4 I am easily caught. Maybe I am just not used to it or it is because of all that combat going on around you.

Both games can be played both ways, but these suit them better.
Getting hit by [sp]sorrows[/sp] beam must be one of the most horrible things that can happen in mgs
Those were pretty freaky... Shooting people while proning on your back right? And you can also throw grenades backwards like that right? And "crawl" down a ledge backwards and stay hanging from it? I remember when MGS4 videos first came out, it had AMAZING controls.
Why did they remove crawling from Peace Walker anyways?
Probably for balance reasons. The terrain isn't as varied due to memory limitations of the PSP meaning a limited number of environments were possible, so if they let you just crawl everywhere you'd pretty much be able to crawl through the entire level.
Why would you do that? It would take a shitload of time :v:
Yeah, its incredibly fun and easy to do as well.
Shut up shut up shut up D: I need a PS3!
Anyone want to play some PW coop? I'm interested in doing a complete run of the game from start to finish. Someone who's already beaten the game is preferred. XBL is Johny 1337
