The idea of the game is to stay hidden unless you're in combat, I can't recall a situation where I've ever needed a suppressed assault rifle for a silent massacre.

Eh, maybe he's just used to silenced assault rifles in MGS4. I mean, they were useful if you wanted to headshot silently and didn't want to use a pistol for some reason.

I like sneaking around people but it's nice to drop a bunch of people with a couple headshots then just move through the room

Click the left stick and that will bring your weapon up without firing.

i actually think the game would have been better if they made raiden a female. it would explain his hips and make him totally less gay and i have no problem playing as a woman. i just have a problem with playing as a nancy ass sissy boy with long blonde hair god damnit

The buttons on ps3 controller are very sensitive, push it down gently and slowly to get into the aiming stance.
It's probably best to learn this now or you'll accidentally slit everyones throats in MGS3 every once in a while.

I love Metal Gear and got the HD collection the day it came out, its nice having all the Metal Gear games for xbox on two cds, i play MGS 2 and 3 all the time but i can't really get into peace walker.
