The number decreases with difficulty level:
Very Easy: 3
Easy: 6
Normal: 9
Hard: 12
Extreme: 15
European Extreme: 25
Love how they call it european extreme. It's like they think of us as some kind of übermensch. "Only a Nord could handle this!"
Also. It says you have to kill 3/6/9 and so on, but you can make it even further since AFAIK, the last killed one has to walk back to repair. I once got to 10 on Very Easy. Truth be told, my go to difficulty in these games is now Hard. I might go for E. Extreme soon. Last i tried, the Vamp battle proved a challenge.
