Young ocelot looks really cool [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] lol he has tyremarks over his face Holy fuck EVA is awesome, I though when she [sp]jumped off the platform thing she was going to land on ocelot's balls[/sp] That would have been righteous, but a [sp]motorcycle backflip[/sp] was intense too [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] hunting frogs with an AK It's the Snake way [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Go into swamp, get leeches, conversation with Para-Medic "Snake look at your body!" "I know, looking good" I love this game
I love the conversations in MGS3. Like if you call Sigint when you're in a box.
Ah okay I see, that happens if you select the 'I liked MGS2!' option. That's dumb. I liked mgs2 but I don't like raiden.
It equips Raikov's mask automatically to fool you.
A regular soldier eats the muscle, Snake eats the vulture whole apparently. [sp]If you do this and face The Sorrow, the dead guard will say "you ate me!".[/sp]
Well, that defies the logic of eating stuff but if it's in the game I guess you're right.
Well, that defies the logic of eating stuff but if it's in the game I guess you're right.
By the logic of eating vulture = eating human, we should also have cows and livestock popping up to bitch about being eaten during the Sorrow's part.
I just got to the part where [sp]Emma dies[/sp] [sp]Poor Otacon[/sp]
I'm glad she's dead. All she did was make the plot worse.
Reading is typically helpful when engaging in online discussions.
Have been. Just saying that Kojima's logic on eating things is a bit odd.
Well, that defies the logic of eating stuff but if it's in the game I guess you're right.
I'd say it would be kind of meaningless to have a eating "simulator" in it.
I am getting my shit wrecked on MGS1, Just [sp] defeated the hind, had about 50% HP left when finished, but now I'm finding it impossible to do the stealthed chaps in the elevator without getting killed. [/sp]
I am getting my shit wrecked on MGS1, Just [sp] defeated the hind, had about 50% HP left when finished, but now I'm finding it impossible to do the stealthed chaps in the elevator without getting killed. [/sp]
Run in circles with the famas. Remember you can punch them as well. You should be able to knock all of them down with one famas clip and reload before they get back up.
I love the conversations in MGS3. Like if you call Sigint when you're in a box.
lol I'm doing that now [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] looooooooool what [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] "I can't put it into words. I feel, safe, like this is where I'm meant to be." [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] Also Ocelot's such a showboat "JEEZ GUYS THERE'S A DUDE SHOOTING AT ME WITH AN AK AND THROWING GRENADES AT ME, I BETTER STAND AROUND LIKE A DUMBFUCK TWIRLING MY OUTDATED WEAPONS LIKE BATONS HUEHEHEHEHE" Then when you shoot him when he's reloading he gets mad Oh sorry bro, it's not like YOU'RE TRYING TO KILL ME
All of the conversations with Paramedic about food are pretty funny too.
caught my first snake, looking forward to results also ate some calorie bar Snake's response: I WANT MOOOOOORE
i gunned down the end with a shotgun lol [editline]19th April 2012[/editline]
caught my first snake, looking forward to results also ate some calorie bar Snake's response: I WANT MOOOOOORE
it seems like ur way ahead of me and ive killed heaps of snakes, and crabs, and rabbits, and frogs, etc. calorie mates are the best though, got me a few of those. [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] haha i just killed a goat. delicious
well if you've got up to the end you must be way ahead of me [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] Fuck, I just got somewhat of a spoiler by browsing MGS pages on the wiki [sp]Ocelot is ADAM[/sp]
what the heck do i do on the cliff face overlooking the uh big facility thing
what the heck do i do on the cliff face overlooking the uh big facility thing
You have to go back to the warehouse with and through the red door that was previously locked. Right after the harbour or whatever that was.
You have to go back to the warehouse with and through the red door that was previously locked. Right after the harbour or whatever that was.
no not that part, i'm on the mountainside with the choppers. but it's okay i figured out what to do
I got a SVD When can I use it
I got a SVD When can I use it
Well, you can use it to [sp]kill the End after the Pain boss battle so that you wont have to battle him later.[/sp] Other than that I dont know.
I mean as in assaulting a fortified position I guess I could set up a sniper's nest somewhere and first of all pick off all the radio guards Then deal with the rest
Guess it's going to be somewhat useful in the cliffs section.
I mean as in assaulting a fortified position I guess I could set up a sniper's nest somewhere and first of all pick off all the radio guards Then deal with the rest
why though? that's even more risky. there's nothing easier than walking around and tranquing and knifing people.
I don't know I get bored of it I used to do this thing wherever I got caught I'd just let them kill me and try again After like 10 failed attempts I just was like: No fuck it and just went on a bloody rampage and won. There's nothing more satisfying then knifing and hiding the bodies of the radio guys, setting up a position and lighting up the remaining guards, meanwhile they can't call for help and they don't know where the fire is coming from, so it's just like a shooting gallery

[/sp]
[sp]I grab them and choke them to death, it can be difficult at first since you have three others attacking you but the more you kill the easier it gets.[/sp]
What are peace walker's graphics like in comparison to MGS3 MGS2 looks okay, about what I expected MGS3 looks beautiful I'm hoping Peace Walker looks even better than MGS3, but I don't know because there's probably a little bit less processing power on the PSP opposed to the PS2
I'm really glad this thread is so active. Usually, threads about HD editions disappear into obscurity after the first 3 pages. I did consider making a Devil May Cry thread in celebration of the new HD collection.
Yeah, they fixed tranqs being insanely overpowered in Peace Walker because helmets can take 1 - 4 hits from a tranquilizer gun before you'll actually hit them in the head and knock them out. If you hit them anywhere else, it takes ages for them to fall over.
I haven't figured out exactly where to hit them but I've shot helmeted guys in the arse and had them ista-sleep.
Thinking of playing the series through for the story. The first three I could play right away, the fourth one later next month. To better enjoy/understand the plot, should I play them chronologically or in the order they were released? Afaik, MGS3 takes place years before MGS2 and so on.
To better enjoy/understand the plot, should I play them chronologically or in the order they were released? Afaik, MGS3 takes place years before MGS2 and so on.
I would recommend playing it in this order MGS1>MSGS2>MGS3>MGS:PW Simply because, MGS3 improves upon the formula so much that it's difficult to go backwards.
