Shoulder aim from MGS4 right? Nice. BTW, on HD snake eater, can you walk back while aiming?
If you're auto-aiming.
If you're auto-aiming.
Wait you can auto-aim on snake eater?
Wait you can auto-aim on snake eater?
Ya it's useful for hold ups. I think on the xbox version it's LB.
Don't you automatically turn around when you walk back?
Ya it's useful for hold ups. I think on the xbox version it's LB.
How are you even able to sneak up on someone, since crouch-walk doesn't exist in MGS3 and it seems whenever I run/walk they just turn around.
How are you even able to sneak up on someone, since crouch-walk doesn't exist in MGS3 and it seems whenever I run/walk they just turn around.
D-pad is for sneaking movement. Yet, if you time it right, you can run right up behind a guard and hold him up before he goes into the alert phase.
Masturbating or having sex with her mother? :v:
didnt the mother like, saver her? instead of otacon?
I've yet to hear music in a game that gives me a more tense feeling than this.
That music made return when in the final battle of MGS4. I was happy and sad when I heard it :() EDIT: OOps, I actually meant Zedicus Mann's one.
MGS2 is all kinds of fucked up.
BTW, on HD snake eater, can you walk back while aiming?
Hold L1 to lock your aiming direction, for example if you hold up an enemy from behind, you can hold down L1 to strafe in front of him while keeping your gun aimed at him.
Ya it's useful for hold ups. I think on the xbox version it's LB.
...what HOW COME I DON'T KNOW THIS?! Lock-on button (on MGS2) is used to shoulder fire on MGS3. I gotta see if I can lock-on in some way in the original snake eater. I've been aiming manualy all this time... I can't do that on the original I think. :c

[sp]How to scavenge head parts in PW? I've replayed the original unmanned trio a couple of times already and I haven't got a single one, though I've got 2 screws before.[/sp] upd [sp]It was Pupa, got the head[/sp]
[sp]Just try to kill the AIs without damaging the parts you want.[/sp]
I know this, I just didn't know from which one you can get exactly these parts.
It was in the original.
Can't be. I just tried a few minutes ago and I couldn't lock on at all. Wait, just found it. Didn't knew about this. Gonna try it out. Fuck my life, gotta go through The Pain before... I'll just start a new game. Faster just to try it out.
No, his stepmother basically sexually assaulted him when he was a teenager, which caused Hal's father to commit suicide by drowning himself in the pool, dragging Hal's sister, Emma, in with him, expecting Hal to save her, but he was "with" his stepmother at the time (implying they were having sex) Yeah, Otacon's all kinds of fucked up.
Holy shit what the fuck when was this mentioned with him committing suicide.
It just locks on at hold up range. Not bad though. http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_3:_Snake_Eater/Controls I don't know what the L1+R1 does though. On advanced controls. I tried it, and it seems to not do anything.
Holy shit what the fuck when was this mentioned with him committing suicide.
It was mentioned at some point in mgs2. Can't really remember when, because it's been way too long ago since I've last played the game. Otacon has the most depressing story of all of the characters, and somehow he still doesn't completely break down. Seriously, the guy had so much shit happen to him, in every game featuring him, he gets a traumatising moment at some point.

Ahh the torture scene in peace walker will haunt me to my grave Any good tips on getting through it?
Ahh the torture scene in peace walker will haunt me to my grave Any good tips on getting through it?
Be glad that it's not MGS1's torture scene.
How the hell are you guys having trouble on the torture scene?
Ahh the torture scene in peace walker will haunt me to my grave Any good tips on getting through it?
Put the PSP down on a desk and use your right index finger or google buttonmashing tips for bigger consoles.
I seriously never had a problem with the PW torture scene ever. Doing microwave corridor without knowing you're immortal is the worst thing in the world.
I seriously never had a problem with the PW torture scene ever. I've finished the game over 5 fucking times and I didn't know this. Fuck.
Wait, you're immortal in the microwave corridor? I've finished the game over 5 fucking times and I didn't know this. Fuck.
Me either for a while. It's quite easy if you know how to pace yourself with it the right amount.
The "Fuck my life, I'm Otacon!" award 2k12 goes to... With 15 consecutive wins and reigning champion since 1998... The winner is... Otacon! No seriously. Here you are, sitting and thinking that MGS3 had the most insane emotional moments... But then you remember this guys whole character arc and you just go... "Damn son, MGS3 was soft..." I mean. We all know that MGS4 was a nostalgia-flip of a fan-service... But even with all of the melancholia and nostalgia inducing atmosphere... Shit like this still takes the cake. Really. he's like the polar opposite to the comical sidekick we first assumed he would be. So they re-cast that role to the MG MK. 2 and also cast Johnny as the new badass since Raiden was cast as Mr. X 3... Wow. [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] Holy shit! I forgot how sick the MGS4 cinematics looked. I wish we'd get more games like that. Y'know. Like Uncharted and GoW. The more tailored experience and what comes with it.
Holy shit what the fuck when was this mentioned with him committing suicide.
what?? spoilers!!!!!!
Holy shit what the fuck when was this mentioned with him committing suicide.
It's the whole reason Emma is so afraid of water. Stupid plot device IMO I never sympathized with Otacon because his sister was more an annoying gameplay mechanic than anything.
