So I finished Chapter 4 of Peace Walker yesterday, and it really is a great game. The ending was kind of silly, but you have to expect that from Kojima. I wish the missions were longer too, but in co-op they're great fun. Zadornov is also such a silly name, I keep thinking its ZaDoorKnob.
Why the fuck would you start with 3 if you haven't played 2?
I watched Let's Plays of all the games excluding Portable Ops and Peace Walker. Just started with 3 because it seems more enjoyable than 2.
im playing peace walker i dont really like it way too much psp influence and handholding and tiny baby missions and other bad things what i dont like
I do like the fact that codec calls don't force you to stop and that weapons/camo/items exist separate of the missions.
I feel like the tree bark camo isn't ever needed in MGS3. It's just so much better to use leaf or tiger stripe for everything.
MGS3 has no real story relation to MGS2...
[sp]It explains how the patriots were founded with the philosophers' legacy, that's a huge story relation...[/sp]
For the record, the stealth camo in Peace Walker is the best.
So I was playing MGS3 while my siblings in the next room were playing Minecraft, And it was kind of funny hearing them talk about their "Pet" ocelots while I'm fighting him in MGS. :v: And my gosh, The only games I've replayed more then MGS3 is HL2 and DooM. And even then I've only played though them all the way once or twice. This is definitely one of the best games I've ever played.
[sp]It explains how the patriots were founded with the philosophers' legacy, that's a huge story relation...[/sp]
Yeah. But not in a way where you can't play them chronologically rather than order of release.
Why is it I can hold people up in MGS2, by just running up to them(while weapon is equip) clicking the right stick down and there we have it holding them up, but they don't drop anything?(I only have the socom at the moment)

I walked infront of the guy and he punched me and ran off... not a nice guy I can tell you that, but I can try from behind if I get him again.(or anyone else for that matter)
Go in front of them and aim at their head. If they say something like "Go ahead and shoot me", then do just that. Shooting them in the hand or foot, or knocking them out with the Mk.22 and waking them up should do it.
Versus mode on Peace Walker is actually pretty good.
If anyone needs help capturing vehicles or finishing vehicle missions, feel free to send me a message. I've got stealth camo and the fulton launcher, as well as the electromagnetic net which will help out greatly.

On MGS2 you could be quite sadistic, if you shot their radio, their right arm and one of their feet. They wouldn't be able to radio for backup, unable to shoot their primary firearm and they'd try and hobble away.
Oh wait, I shoot them in both legs, hence why they die... heh :v:
I've been playing the VR missions in 2 forgot how fun the HF blade is to use
also why can't you crawl in peace walker??? you have been able to crawl in every game up to that and after that WHY CAN'T YOU CRAWL?? did big boss get knocked in the head one too many times and forget how??? [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] crawling is way more realistic than crouch walking. do u have any idea how difficult it is to crouch walk like that?

So far I've had no need for crawling.
At least they'll return to the "big" consoles with the next one (crosses fingers). I see no reason for more portable failures.
The battles against the AI weapons are so damn fun. I keep taking them on and seeing which systems I can take out before finally destroying it. The Type-II variants get so much stronger though, I'm dreading the custom variants. I'd love to see a game where you take on giant bosses like that, kind of like Shadow of the Colossus, except with multiplayer. And how many times does Zadornov escape aaah- [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] The OP needs fixing too, since imgur/we is blocked us/them Can someone also add me to the PS3 Players. PSN is NinjaWilko

You're just a bit of a cunt really.
I picked up the HD Collection the other day. I've never played an MGS title apart from a bit of the first one but I never played them that much I watched others playing it as I had no clue what was going on... So now I'm playing Snake Eater thinking to myself, 'Why the fuck didn't I play these games earlier?'
In Peace Walker you really dont even have to use stealth since there's no consequences. That kind of bothered me.
I don't think you get an S Rank if you set off an alert or kill anyone on Peacewalker. Basically for all missions except bosses I have stealth suit, mk22, smoke grenades, sometimes I'll have the mosin or a lethal gun but rarely use them. Normally I just run around holding everyone up and fultoning them.

The one thing I hate about Peace Walker is that they give you all those cool lethal guns, but you get penalized in your rank for using them. Such a tease, also could someone add me to OP for PS3? My PSN is PachiraSanctis
