Not anything new. MGS4 had plenty of lethals, but you got less bonus DP for massacreing
Eh, I did a lethal run in MGS4 and I still had lots of DP. I bought every gun except for the M98 (.50 cal sniper rifle) or whatever that variant was and the Japanese musket in the final stage.
my average run of MGS4 leaves me 350k to 500k DP when i sneak. tried shooting my way through chapter 2. Went from usually getting 175k to 23k. [editline]30th April 2012[/editline] Is my Avatar Old Snake? I swear i changed it...
Swear down you just spend your whole time fucking moaning about everything. You're just a bit of a cunt really.
youre only focusing on the negative things i say because i say plenty of positive things for example how i have loved every other part of every other mgs game to bits and the only complains i've had are two posts about only peace walker i think it says more about u if you only pick up on the negative things i say [editline]30th April 2012[/editline]
my average run of MGS4 leaves me 350k to 500k DP when i sneak. tried shooting my way through chapter 2. Anyone notice how each Metal Gear game has at least one child soldier?
Anyone notice how each Metal Gear game has at least one child soldier?
MGS 3 has a child soldier?

I only ever play MGS2 as non-lethal just because they spend a ton of time praising Snake for that. As Raiden, i do it just to counter the "OHMAGAWDIBLEWOFFHISBRAINS!" baww-plot. [editline]30th April 2012[/editline]
Anyone notice how each Metal Gear game has at least one child soldier?
Voluntary in the case of MGS1 and where's the one in MGS2?
youre only focusing on the negative things i say because i say plenty of positive things for example how i have loved every other part of every other mgs game to bits and the only complains i've had are two posts about only peace walker i think it says more about u if you only pick up on the negative things i say
Well what good things do you have to say about peace walker? Not saying that you only say bad things, but what would you say is done right?
On MGS2 you could be quite sadistic, if you shot their radio, their right arm and one of their feet. They wouldn't be able to radio for backup, unable to shoot their primary firearm and they'd try and hobble away.
I used to do that to every guard in the game when i first got it back in the 2002-2003. i also kept punching them the same time, that shit was hilarious.
MGS 3 has a child soldier?
It's kind of implied with things like the philosophers charm schools and Ocelot. The guys 20 and he holds the rank of Major after all.
Well, Raiden
Fomer child-soldier. Not the same. Ok, it is. Leave me alone! [editline]30th April 2012[/editline] B&B squad in MGS4... Do they even count? They were all like 17 when the shits hit the respective fans.
So what exactly was the justification for the Shagohod's existence if the USSR already had missiles that could hit anywhere (important) in the continental US by the time it was created?
So what exactly was the justification for the Shagohod's existence if the USSR already had missiles that could hit anywhere (important) in the continental US by the time it was created?

ITS FUCKING AWESOME
Also, Volgin owned the Shagohod, not the official USSR government.
So what exactly was the justification for the Shagohod's existence if the USSR already had missiles that could hit anywhere (important) in the continental US by the time it was created?
Missile silos are predictable, and they're stationary. Stationary objects are great targets for MAD retaliation. The Shagohod is mobile, and can fire it's rockets anywhere with enough open space. It isn't as easy to target in a MAD retaliation scenario.
The Drebins were all child soldiers. Props to whoever edited the wikia page on him and saying that he was part of Konys army.
He does mention he was in the LRA during the game so
Well what good things do you have to say about peace walker? Not saying that you only say bad things, but what would you say is done right?
So far I think all the changes in peacewalker are for the worse. People only stay knocked out for like 2 minutes, you can't crawl, you crosshair is enormous and your bullets don't go very far. it doesn't at all feel like an mgs game. feels like a shit spinoff for a portable console (because it is) i know hideo did this one, but it doesn't feel like he did. its all just so wack. maybe it gets better, but i'm playing mgs1 now and i prefer that far over peace walker so i probably won't go back to it right now.
Holding up anyone and using the disarm CQC move after you hold them up gets you double the DP, disarming and taking the gun while the guy is alive and awake gives you a bonus.
how do u even do that
how do u even do that
I made a video on how to do it a while back In the video I use Cry Ammo to make them drop their guns rather then go through the hold up and shake down, plus Haven Camo to leave you nearly invisible if you stand still. But you need to get in front or behind them, and double tap R1 with an Assault Rifle or SMG, when you do that, you'll shove them forward, tapping it once more after they're shoved will make him disarm them. It can be done with a pistol too, go up behind them, tap R1 to grab, tap it once more to yank it out of their hands.

USA and the USSR are now radioactive wastelands BUT WE HAVE A BIG TANK YAY WE WIN.
He does mention he was in the LRA during the game so
For real? Wow. He's much younger than i thought then.
DEAR TORTURE SCENE IN PEACE WALKER PLEASE FUCK YOURSELF UP THE ARSE WITH A CHAINSAW Seriously, that damn thing is so fucking tough. Any tips to make it easier or something?
Are you on 360? [editline]1st May 2012[/editline] Get a friend to bust you out of the jail in co-op so you don't have to do the torture scene at all.
Yeah, if only I had XBOX Live.
Yeah, if only I had XBOX Live.
If only I had friends :(.
DEAR TORTURE SCENE IN PEACE WALKER PLEASE FUCK YOURSELF UP THE ARSE WITH A CHAINSAW Seriously, that damn thing is so fucking tough. Any tips to make it easier or something?
Even though I have finished it on PSP, you should put your controller on a stable, hard and non-slippery surface, lean over it and use your index finger to mash the button as fast as you can and rest during cutscene times.
I had to get my mom to do that part for me, I always turn to her when I need to mash buttons.
Why is your mum so good at repetitively mashing things?
I have no idea, maybe it is because her usual jobs involve her typing a lot? Maybe it is from her playing games a lot too? Both of my parents play games so they are pretty good at such things.
MGO is being shutdown in one month, play it while ya can guys. [editline]1st May 2012[/editline] Oh god not another torture scene discussion
If only I had friends :(.
That too.
For button mashing use your nail and slide it over the button. If you can do it right it mashes pretty fast.
