if you slugged it out with Volgin it's too late
it was in the area right before the waterfall after The Sorrow's fight
Oh balls.
Does that mean that catching it earlier is pointless?
Also, what would be the best way to catch it there?
I'm probably going to replay the game again in a month or 2 anyways, so I'll be ready then.

it only shows up there if you caught it before otherwise it won't be there
I didn't bother trying to catch it the first time so I don't know any tips

Alright.
Catching it for the first time is piss easy, since you can just kill every living thing in the area where you fight The Fear (before you fight him) and put mouse traps right at the door to the warehouse and then go there and come back.
Damn it i got up to the final button mashing torture bit my bar of psyche was almost full and ERGH damn it.
PS3 version of the MGS HD pack has pressure sensitive controls right?
Please say yes, playing MGS3 on the xbox 360 version was an exercise in pain.
I think so. I kept accidentally slitting people's throats while interrogating them in MGS3.

the ps3 controllers don't have pressure sensitive buttons sry

Absolutely barking mad. If the controller wasn't pressure sensitive, then you wouldn't be able to grab an enemy without choking him in MGS4. Yet I can do that just fine with the PS3 controller.
Unless you're being sarcastic.

Uh, MGS4 uses the trigger buttons for grabbing, not the O button.
Well, I just beat MGS 2. All I have to say is, what the fuck, I'm confused.

I wouldn't be able to remember if the other controls were sensitive, I haven't played on the PS3 for a long while.
Oh crap, just remembered that MGO is shutting down. Hope there's a new one that incorporates more actual espionage action rather than 'hide behind a corner or climb slowly out of a rubbish bin and get nailed in the head two times'.
Will miss the <SONG> voice command. :tinfoil:

This thread is full of MGS nerds.
Got a PS3 today for my birthday (Well, yesterday now) and got MGS4, Having a blast with it trying to do a no kill run using only the tranq gun. It feels so cinematic. Also how do I take pictures ingame? I've seen people do it.

That is the proper reaction to it, infact if you are not confused on your first playthrough of MGS2, you are to immediately turn yourself in at the nearest mental ward, for you are insane.

I think that you can get the camera in one of the briefings, which you can use to take photos.

Bye, going to a mental ward.
Just beat that octopus woman in mgs4, this game is getting weird. Didn't expect things like this seeing as this is my first mgs game. I like it though. Had to abandon my no kill run though, is it worth saving money for guns i haven't gotten yet?
Using mostly my tranq gun and silenced m14, are there any other silent rifles for long range?

Well, you can get a nonlethal Mosin Nagant at some point if I recall correctly.
The m14 doesn't do much damage so I'd just use a svd or something else.

But is it possible to use a silencer on it?
That's the main thing, I like to stay silent. And the m14 is one hit to the head and 3 for rest of body, that's decent so far.

It doesn't have a silencer but the enemy won't go above caution if you're properly camo'd. Or just use a M4 with a silencer and scope.

From my experience, unless you're shooting a 50cal, you wont be heard unsilenced if you're further than like 5 metres, which shouldn't be a problem for sniper rifles.

I'll have to try that then, I haven't ever used a gun without silencer actually.
the ps3 controllers don't have pressure sensitive buttons sry
yes they do... in mgs3 hd, lightly pushing O is iron sights, pressing it fully down is shoot.
Finished mgs4 yesterday, man what an ending.
The m14 doesn't do much damage so I'd just use a svd or something else.
The M14 is the best lethal weapon in MGS4.
Silenced, variable zoom, variable fire modes, you can just headshot everyone or whip it out in close quarters if you need to.
Only downside is the magazine capacity.
Bye, going to a mental ward.
See ya there!

Me too!
I specialize in Metal Ge- I mean eagles.
Just beat MGS3. I cried many tears at the end.
Best game I've played in a while.
