Jesus Christ just finished MGS2, what a thrill Major spoilers: [sp]That plot twist hnng, I fucking lost it at "the twelve patriots are already dead" though. Also, with Solidus being killed by raiden, wouldn't this mean that GW achieved what it wanted? Is GW still active, or did it "die" when it landed on Manhattan? Also lost it when the whole thing was a plan to test S3's capabilities oh God.[/sp]
Play MGS4 and that'll be answered, but still play MGS3. MGS3 is probably my favorite game of all time.
MGS3 would be my all-time second favorite game (right after God Hand), but the iffy controls and mostly easy and boring boss fights (with a few exceptions) drag it down a bit.

I think they're only iffy if you compare it to 4 or Peace Walkers.

Fuck I played MGS3 a lil'bit and I found it hard as fuck, can't get past those pesky sentries, any tips? Changing camo everytime is a bit annoying too.

That is pretty much the only camo I wore the whole game, only switching at the mountain and Grozny Grad areas.
Same here about MGS3, I got as far as the bridge. I've relied too much on using the sonar. I'll keep at it, though. Also the MGS2 ending song is beautiful.
After you complete the game once you get DPM camo which fits for everything basically, use that
I wear tiger stripe since it is more realistic for a us soldier to wear :v:

I found DPM and Woodland face camo to be more useful throughout my playthroughs. Only time I use Tiger Stripe or the Splitter is for interiors.
Really? I found DPM and Woodland face camo to be more useful throughout my playthroughs. Only time I use Tiger Stripe or the Splitter is for interiors.
It is more useful, but I don't think you start with that, and I like to use tiger stripe for realism
You only start with DPM if you said you like MGS3 at the start.
Badass people are playing the entire game with olive and tiger :v:
You mean naked with kabuki facepaint.
You mean naked with kabuki facepaint.
You mean scientist oyama.
Snake camo as default, Sorrow for taking down sentries and Stealth for bosses.
I just used Desert Tiger everywhere because it made your suppressor never wear out :v:
You mean scientist oyama.
You mean Maintenance worker with USA face paint while wearing crocodile cap. Although you get that uniform pretty late in the game.
The day you fight The End and climb that ladder is the day a bunch of people die of alcohol poisoning.
Every time you get hit by The End's tranq darts, take a drink. Makes sense.
Quick idea, the first person to spot the sorrow doesn't have to drink, but everyone else does.
Everytime Volgin does a bulletpunch, drink.
Can I interest anyone in playing through Peace Walker on PS3 with me?
Everytime Volgin does a bulletpunch, drink.
doesn't he do it in really quick succession at one point? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL THEM ALL
Can I interest anyone in playing through Peace Walker on PS3 with me?
Of course! Add me on PSN, My username's FetchingToaster.
I'm thinking "every time a member of the cobra unit repeats their own name"
Death by the Fear
