I'm thinking "every time a member of the cobra unit repeats their own name"
Wouldn't you just end up doing brewnami every time you killed a member? Given they all shout their names a billion times when they die.
There could be something for Volgin's bisexual

Not bad at all for being drunk
Got my mousepad, that I ordered a few weeks back, today!

Keeping my mouse on the left side of the pad, I can caress his thigh with my pinkie.
Multitasking.

Oh god, I just tried doing that with my mouse pad and my pinkie went all "fuck you" and almost seized up.

You may have not realized this.

They both are the same voice actress, which makes the Boss's speech really hard to take seriously once you realize.

Still playing MGS3. Is playing Portable Ops necessary for understanding Peace Walker's story.
Still playing MGS3. Is playing Portable Ops necessary for understanding Peace Walker's story.
Not at all. The only time it's mentioned in Peace Walker is in the beginning training mission, and even then, it's only a passing remark.
Okay, I've reached a consensus that MGS3 is silly
The game itself is very good, I can't get myself to stop playing it. Everytime I think "Well, gee, I've been playing this a lot, I should give it a rest.", I just can't :v:, but man those bosses hahahah what the hell. I must admit that The End was a very cool guy and a very nice battle though, but [sp]The Fury? An astronaut with a flamethrower? Whaaat hahah[/sp], I just reached Grosnyj Grad, how far into the game am I?
2/3rds I think.
I just reached Grosnyj Grad, how far into the game am I?
I'd say about halfway though.

MGS 3 and MGS 4 have a good pseudo realism going without actually taking it seriously enough to impede gameplay and characters.

The Pain too, it's a man with armour made from bees, which are trained to build tommy guns and grenades
I'd say about halfway though.
Further than that. Two thirds to three quarters sounds more likely, depending on how long it takes him to get through each area.
Okay I finished it
Amazing gaming experience, I tell you what. But once again I [sp]think all my actions were kinda pointless, what with the conspiracy thing going on about the philosopher's legacy. Just like in MGS2, all I did was for the god damn government. Also hurrr I fucking hate EVA, fuck her, at least she didn't take the original legacy. In the end, was that Ocelots' voice? So many conspiracies hnng[/sp]
Is it worth it to 100% this game?
I'm certainly going to play this game more than once though, it's been 30 minutes since I finished and I already miss it. I said it once and I'll say it again, the MGS series has very memorable characters, I really got myself to like them.
Now to Peace Walker.

Up to you on 100% on 3. I just watched the ending of MGS3 again, [sp]the death of The Boss, her gravesite, and EVA talking about what happened and her final mission, it actually caused me to tear up a little more.[/sp] Like I said before, I couldn't press the button to kill her, it did it automatically.
PW, its a good game, unless you hate grinding vehicle/mech missions. Then you will hate part of it.
Piss Wanker is a bad game.
MGS games always have such powerful endings. How does Kojima pull it off every single time?
Also last night I completed the game on European Extreme. I nearly went insane on the [sp]Ray battle, there's so god damn many of them.[/sp]
I'm a big fan of the MGS games and Kojima's work in general, but the endings aren't that great. MGS2's was a little too lengthy and it really diminished a lot of its impact. Same deal with MGS4.
Can't say I agree with you, I really liked the endings despite their length.

I CAME BACK FROM SPACE!

MGS2's I didn't like, but the last stage made up for it.
MGS4's... Otherwise the ending was really, really meh, but I just absolutely fucking love the epilogue. Easily makes it my favorite MGS ending.
[sp]ocelot and solid duking it out atop the massive nuke island ship. yeah.
in fact that was fucking full of pure awesome parts, microwave tunnel, raiden's armless fight scene[/sp]

[sp]and the wedding, that was totally awesome.[/sp]
Easily the best part (and my favorite cutscenes was [sp]Big Boss' return. Manly tears everywhere.[/sp]
