But really, cases like that are small. I remember it took me a little searching to find Gran Turismo 5, but the store I usually go to was able to just order it for me. I mean kind of ironically, now that I've mentioned that game, it was the XL edition, which was basically an up to date re-release.
But still, it shouldn't take a re-release for people to get it. Sony started selling it as a Greatest Hits/Platinum Range in UK (red box instead of clear), so it should still be in circulation.

i've been trying to play peace walker but it's way to designed to be played with a buddy...
the simplification of stealth and everything to over simplified to play this game by yourself.
Gotta love it when the game developers think of everything.
For example you can disable Pains bees by throwing smoke grenades which makes the fight piss easy if you chain them together.

If Snake eats something he doesn't like he only gets a small stamina boost. If you keep eating it he gets used to the taste and the stamina recovery increases.

If you go in to survival viewer and spin Snake around for a while, when you resume he throws up.

If you wear white (like the Snow camo) during the fight, his bees won't attack you. TECHNOLOGY!

Just left the lab i was looking for Sokolov in.
Loving this game so far.
Theres a lot of charm in the way metal gear handles its fights, like Ocelot and his 12 shots. Also was walking around the cave for about 2 hours before i found the torch, then another hour until i realised where the exit was. Until then cigars were quite useful for lighting the place up.
I just started playing MGS 4. Top quality stuff man, every little detail is covered. Only shame is I don't have an HDTV (no money for it right now), but it's alright. It still looks awesome.

It didn't seem like a lot of people played it anymore. I played about a month before it got shut down and I only found 2 other people.

There were still around 4000+ people playing it till the end, tournament nights had nearly 10,000, most likely they're setting up for the next MGO. Either way I'm annoyed that the $20 expansion I bought is now useless because they wanted to shut it down, even if I did have the expansion for over 2 years.
I hope they rebalance it for GZ, it was hell for new players once it had been around for some years. I could never get into it, hs' everywhere.
MGO was such a great concept and the mechanics were amazingly original but fuck I couldn't even begin to get into it because of the weirdos who would run in circles and then headshot you from across the map.
