E-50's are pretty easy to track tbh and since they don't exactly turn very fast a good player can avoid the impact easily.
And if you get tracked at speeds such as 60 km/h you will usually spin, exposing your sides and in the E-50's case, a gigantic flat side.

To explain a bit more, this is how it works currently
On an HE splash or non-penetrating direct hit, it makes a cone-shaped blast wave through the tank (starting from the weakest armored spot the explosion has line of sight to, think a bunch of rays spreading out from the point of impact) and every crew member that's in the way has a 10% chance of getting killed, up to a max of 3 dudes.
On a penetrating HE hit, every crew member that gets in the way of the explosion has a 15% chance (slightly higher) of getting killed, with no hardcap.

The nerfs that came with the M48A1 hurt it pretty damn bad though.
In my opinion, the T-54 is probably the best T9 medium right now, with the D-10T2C and a few HEAT shells there's pretty much nothing you can't go through.

Sure I read that somewhere, with 3 of 5 being max if rounded up (and 2 of 3).

yeah it's fun, has the biggest gun depression in the game which completely negates any hills you come across, and the alpha is very satisfying at tier 6.
major downside is that it gets tier 8 battles sometimes, but you have great APCR that can pen any tier 8 frontally so keep some at all times.
I couldn't get myself to enjoy the dicker beyond making the many Rene Descartes jokes upon killing an enemy.
So much for armour nowadays with gold ammo for credits.

This is why I'm trying to get most of my tank lines up to tier 9, aside from the tier 6s I use in Medium TCs.
The matchmaking is nice, and tier 9 players still remember how to play the game most of the time. It also means when it's the weekend and every pubtard hops on their tier 8 premiums, I'll be top dog 90% of the time.
If someone wants to waste a heap of silver trying to pen my ST-I, then that's up to them. I'll just laugh as my tracks eat the round. The other tanks I have are all French with no armor. HE would do more damage to them than gold rounds!

I raped a KV-4 frontally with my Hellcat using them APCR rounds. Pretty balanced to have a tier 6 TD do that to the most armored T8 heavy in the game, eh.

If there was a map I hated most after Serene shit coast it would be this map.
Malinovka or campinova on standard mode.
Starting on the south side I tend to always lose, the north gets to the hill so much faster.
On top of that, the map has so little hard cover that even 2 SPGs pose such a threat. Never-mind 5 SPGs, that is just overkill!

The map was almost fun back when T10 TD's didn't exist. I used to be able to hop in my IS-7 and charge across the field while half my team yells at me, and the other half follows, and have a pretty good chance at winning. Now you charge across you just get penned frontally by a T110E5 running gold, then get hit by arty and killed.
