Just because it's basically better than the 13 75 in EVERY WAY.

word. seems interesting; though the tier 6 one seems kinda mediocre at best
on another note, I love how the 122-44 is 'balanced' by making the shells 1k a pop
when you make like, 25 times that on a mediocre match
this thing is god tier, glad my friend let me test it out
it's like a bunker that requires ~170 or so pen to pen the front, shoots out angry 122mm shells every 8 seconds or so, plus a rammer

Been a long time since i played the M5, i guess you should play it like most other lights, i think it might be good at bush scouting but i'm not totally sure about that. Get the 75mm howitzer like others have said.
The 75mm's HEAT is not very effective in my opinion though as 100mm of penetration still isn't enough to penetrate even the sides of some of the tanks you are put up against.

Well, for starters the AMX 13/75 is kinda lacking.
It's only a tiny mobility boost from the 12t along with a slightly shorter reload time and more health.
It's still the same tank as before the Tier 10 update, it's just not that much of an upgrade anymore.
Kinda like the Lorraine, they basically copied over the BatChat's stats to it and called it a day. For some reason that appeased the WoTards, even though the main complaint about the BatChat being "op nerf pls" was its speed and burst DPM, both things the Lorraine still has with a bigger profile.

Yep. Over 3k DPM.
Also the gun on the T71 has 175 pen and 150 dmg, and a 5 second longer reload of the drum.
MEANWHILE 13 75 gets 144 pen and 135 damage, and the only good thing compared to the T71 gun is the accuracy.

It's BS how it has the same damn gun as the 12t, it should get an upgrade, especially now that the T71 exists.
150 pen and 150 dmg with the same accuracy and reload speed would be good.

You forgot to mention the T71 fires APCR which gets a nice bonus against sloped armor.
It makes quite a difference.

The 13/90 is well worth the pain though.
And the BatChat, the Lorraine... not so much. I mean it still fucks shit up but while you're killing a T9 every 32.5 seconds there's that annoying little T-50 who follows you around and sticks 45mm shells into your paper front, it's too fast for you to ram him to death and your teammates are too terrible to stop him/too busy laughing at your distinct lack of any armoring.

Well first of all, there's the fact [B]every single thing on the map[/B] wants you dead, especially that S-51 loaded with gold shells.
Then there's all those scout tanks frontally penetrating you with regular shells (fuck you all 2801 drivers) while you're reloading.
I still have a replay of a French squad we did, eli in a 13/90, myself in a Lorraine and Valdor in a BatChat.
Guess who got shot first even though he was behind the BatChat.

Well yeah, but that's french tanks in general and the Lorraine just happens to be more McDonalds than the rest. The difference is that (I personally found) the Lorraine [i]can[/i] play a support-role tank really well because of its penetration, acting as a TD dashing from cover-to-cover and covering your teammates during the first half of the game, and in the latter half you can just sprint around and wreck the hell out of shit reload-to-reload like any other french tank.
You just hafta accept the inevitability that if left alone, low-tier tanks will wreck your shit and the fact that the Lorraine, unlike the 50/100, has the ability to [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=YLD9aAtWSfQ#t=87s][I]fuck it i'm out[/I][/url]. Even from scouts you can find some solace by running back toward your heavy line as fast as you can.
