It has pretty swell DPM for the tier and the armor isn't exactly bad either.
It's not as relatively OP as KV-1S tho. You will find it underpowered after it.

It's basically a 50B except it has the M103's hull armor (haha, armor on the M103) with a turret that doesn't even ding M1A2 shells except unlike the 50B it can't move at all.
How is it unbalanced?
It's a serious question, every time I see one it's on my side and dies in the first 2 minutes of the round. I know it's rather OP in the stats (54% average win rate vs. 51-52 for all the other heavies bar E-100) but I never got to test it myself :v:

Just went face to face with a hetzer at like 300m or something, anyway I was in my S-35 CA, so I knew he could one shot me, and I could one shot him. He missed his first shot (which I am pretty sure he just fired without waiting for aim) so I knew he had to reload. I wait for my reticle to completely shrink before I fire just to make sure i hit, but as I am waiting I see him fire again. I can actually see the round coming at me, and my super awesome reaction time allows me to fire and we kill each other.
Was pretty sweet.

Let's see.
Similar dispersion to the FV215b while on the move, ~22-25 second reload time for the clip, 2 seconds between the shots. In fact, even considering the reload speed, it has a rate of fire of 7.74 shots per minute. Faster aiming time than the AMX50B, more accurate than the gun on the T110.
The list goes on.

because matchmaking is fucking broken and wargaming refuses to address it. Shit like that has been going on for a long ass time now.

The turret armor and shape is also a lot stronger than the AMX 50B's, too.
What really pisses me off is how fast-firing the American autoloaders are compared to the French ones. I can accept them having a faster reload time due to having less ammo capacity, but at tier 10 it's simply unfair that the American gun and autoloader is better in [i]every single way.[/i] Both have four shots of 120mm, but the American gun fires faster, reloads faster, and aims faster. What the fucking fuck, Wargaming?

It'll get nerfed to the ground in 8.4 or 8.5, now that people have spent their gold freeXPing to it. And then they add another ridiculous T10, the cycle continues.

I dont really see the appeal of american autoloaders except for the T71, they seem too slow to be effective

German T10s are always released underpowered, and buffed half a year later when the devs finally realize that their 46-47% global win ratio isn't that good. And in the case of the JPE, it having 47-48% and the Foch 155 having 53-54% is apparently fine by them.
Whatever you do, don't expect the Leopard to be good. The DPM will be the worst, the armor will be nonexistent, the aim time will be 3 seconds, it'll be slow etc. Health and accuracy will be the only things it has. Health in particular, WG's way of balancing Germans is to give them fuckloads of health so they can compensate for shitty everything else by dying slightly slower than the rest.

I hope so. Being able to run rings around the T57 in a 50B is pointless if it's able to out-DPS you.
Don't even get me started on the T71... but if they get hit by the nerf bat, at least I can be glad I stuck to the French lines.
Tempting to go up the Chinese light tank lines, though. They look like fun, and don't require the specialized playstyle that the autoloader-based light tanks do. I might wait for the 105mm howitzers to be nerfed first, though. Darn things make playing tier 4-6 matches a real pain in the ass.
