Left front hull is where the driver is (aiming at it), right hull is ammo. Engine and fuel tanks are in back.

I'd jump once every tier or so to a different one. It's a hassle to keep all of them on track at once.

As many as you can handle.
Decide on a goal, a realistic timeframe, and figure out how best to get there. For example, I've got a whole bunch of different grinds going on, but my main goal is to first buy the IS-4. This limits me to playing tanks that are relatively profitable. Good incentive to do well in my non-premium tanks, too.
It helps that I've actually decided what tiers I want to end up with. Mostly tier 9s and 10s, but also some 8s; tier 8 and 9 matchmaking is very kind, I've found.
For me I'm rolling to get T7 German TD by next Tuesday, and then Type T-34 by next Thursday.

Once you get type t-34 it is a pretty bad grind if you want to unlock both lines. I haven't even unlocked one yet.

bad stock, pretty good fully upgraded. if you have the xp i would just bypass it, might as well just go ahead and get the batchat, you're not missing anything by skipping the lorraine.

It used to rape, it probably still rapes but the statistics are against it (worst T9 medium right now, they nerfed it too much).
I guess it's because the Lorraine craze is the one and only that didn't die. Even my BatChat doesn't get focus fired nearly as much. Playing the Lorraine feels like being a T92 in a wild herd of T-50-2s.

Does the tier X gun on the M103 make a difference enough to research it before you research the T110.

Just free EXP the engine/tracks/top gun on the Lorraine. It's horrible stock, but fully upgraded it can really fly, and since it has a very similar play style to the 50 100 and FCM 50t, I'm getting used to having shit all armor and crappy aim time with a fast firing gun.

It's like 60k xp so I just got the turret, and I'm still 100k xp from the T110E5 but it's been going pretty okay for me so far.

Seriously this game has billion problems but crying about power creep is ridiculous.
Some tanks get released as OP, some just blow. The only thing WG can be blamed for is not doing rebalance patches often enough, but that's it.

Right now, the Centurions are apparently pretty grand, but the FV4202 is doing just awful, statistically.
I would like to believe they will rebalance it well. Just keep on mind it's a line of long range snipers - something akin to Panthers, just slower.

The win ratio of both it, and the FV215b have been steadily falling. It won't long till before they are below 50% global win ratio (on the Russian server). The devs have said that the FV215b will likely receive a buff, and I bet the FV4202 will as well.
