Would be nice, but normally dont premiums need to be generally weaker? Perhaps force them into there historical configurations. eg, Hellcat with the 76mm only, Pershing with the 90mm(short), KT with the 88mm. T-34 with a 76mm(I know it had a 57mm, but wasnt that rather rare?)
I don't think anyone wants to see Lorraines running around in their historical configuration as a premium tank.
Or AMX 13/90s for that matter.

Premium tanks are not weaker.
Premium tanks are not weaker.
Generally depends on the players skill but I'd think they're normally weaker then the tier they're at with -some- exceptions. People use them quite well, but if I had to pick from a T34, KV-5, IS-6, Lowe and a T32. I'm going for the T32.

Yeah, would need some working out. I was rather unsure on historcal nature of french tanks. never really liked them myself. Could always do stalk...but I'd feel bad for anyone that picks an M46 Patton..

Can artillery really blindshot this accurately?
So, I got a model kit and it came with some WoT codes for some reason... anybody want a code for 2,000 gold on new accounts only? Not sure how many people here don't have accounts...
PM me.
Get angry + buy Heatzer = 11 kills

It'd be much worse to pick the M48A1 considering it's a variant that didn't get the L7 out of the factory :v:
Converting real tanks into gold tanks just wouldn't work, unless you make exceptions which would get the crybabies going to the forums and complaining at 500 pps. Can you imagine a Pershing in its stock configuration? Or what about all those tanks that never actually had decisions taken about their final guns (VK 4502, Panther II, hell even the E-50).
Plus French Tanks would be OP as shit since they pretty much all are historically equipped when fully upgraded (well except for the BatChat 25t and BatChat 155 which is absolutely fake).
Tankers!
This Friday, Major_Rampage will be forming a Champion Tank Company! So gather your own company of champions for a chance to face off against his deadly, though good-natured, crew. Remember that time when Rampage said he'd clean your house, but didn't? Well now's your chance to get back at him for failing to dust all the knickknacks!
From 15:00 PST to 18:00 PST on February 22nd, Major_Rampage will be leading his Champion Tank Company on the field of battle. You don't even have to win to score yourself some gold. Simply build your tank company and keep an eye on the Tank Company chat. He'll announce when he's entering the queue. Face Rampage and his posse, get some gold... it's really that easy!
Win: everyone on your team gets 600
Lose: everyone on your team gets 300
Draw: nada, nothing, zero, zilch
I don't know if any of you are interested in this, but every time these glod companies are run there are a ton of bad players that show up, meaning that there is much fun to be had with a mildly coordinated non-braindead team. Also, WGA is pretty bad at tanks, so if you do encounter them, it's generally a pretty easy win.
Prototypes, failed experiments and napkin designs will compromise the majority of ships, I bet.
To make matters worse, they'll probably get that battleship they were working on until 1953 as their tier 10.

It can go 65.7 kmh.
Also, is anyone else having problems getting to this site on firefox? I've been completely unable to over the past 3 days. I have to use IE to come here now (ugh).

It's too bad we didn't get any gold, but I think the massive amounts of money we made clobbering those teams made up for it.

oh yes, yes i will
give me a few days and i'll somehow get to tier five
I just started playing and set up a plan for what I want to do, so I've got a good rotation going. I'm really hating the French BS though, I think I might squander the 1000ish free xp I have on getting rid of it.
Also, I want to keep a Tier 1 around as an elite so I can do some Tier 1 games, though I can't choose which one I want.
If you're new to the game, the French line is not the first line you want to go down. Later tiers require a lot of experience to play considering they're glass cannon auto loaders. Your best bet as a nooby is to play Russian tanks, specifically the IS heavy line.
First line everyone goes through should be US Heavy.
The Russian line is super easy to play, but the complete lack of accuracy/gun depression/bad soft stats teaches new players just to drive around and point and click. The US line is really well rounded and it teaches players to use terrain and weak spots imo - it's probably the best starter line to try and make good players.
Not to mention the T110E5 at the end of it is amazing
Hey, I met one of you guys in a stuart! Along with my partner critnuke.
I think it was you shogoll.

Yeah I'm running my M5A1 with full APCR load out atm. It's hilarious
I'm just a tiny bit away from my KV-1 and it's just sitting there taunting me.
7 kills in Pz.38(t)
team loses

Oh well I found soviet medium tanks to have rather accurate guns.
