Stop worrying about win rates, in pubbie matches they don't matter that much considering how fucking awful they are most of the times.
Just go into matches like I do, with a view that your team is most likely going to lose no matter what you do, but still do your best and just hope that effort will be enough to bring your hopeless team to a victory.
And no matter how bad you get, just remember that you are far better than the majority of players in this game.

In fact, if you speak english and have two arms you are better than 75% of the playerbase.

If you've learned how to turn the front of your tank towards the enemy, then you're already doing better than 50% of the playerbase. Don't get your titties in a knot because your win rate is 49.5% after 500 battles.

It was the time when autoaim calculated the lead when trying to hit moving targets. And hitting was so hard anyways for some reason that T-44 was best tank of the old times.

Played a game where there was 1 tier 10 on each team, in my Jagdpanther II. Didn't get hit once by real tanks. Just Twice by arty.

That beta thread is hilarious. Orkel posts a picture of a Schmallturm Pz4 wondering what the hell he just saw, people reply "Thats a Luchs!". Beta days where awesome. I remember shitting my pants when I saw my first heavy, a stock KV that raped the shit out of all poor low tier tanks because there was no matchmaking.

This. Autoaim was the only reliable way to hit sideways moving tanks back in the beta warp times.
