I like how WG gave the T-34-1 a 100mm and aren't giving it back to the T43.
The IS line for sure.
is it not worth bothering with the KV line at all? i have the KV-1S already, and am working towards the T150 since i like the thought of a straight-up upgraded KV-1
I like how WG gave the T-34-1 a 100mm and aren't giving it back to the T43.
If the T-43 gets a 100mm I demand for my Easy Eight to get a 90mm. [editline]27th February 2013[/editline] I hate seeing T29's lately on my team. Most of the time they have 76mm's...Well, still better then that T34 with the 90mm I saw one time.
Reading overlords blog, all the shitlords are raving about getting xvm banned because
If "show player efficiency" mods would be disabled, we would have much less insulting "weaker" players before/during the battle. (And much less whining about "fail" MM)
or just, you know, have skill based mm [sub][sub]or if you are shit enough for someone to insult your stats before the game starts you could always stop playing and free wot of a small amount of cancer[/sub][/sub]
is it not worth bothering with the KV line at all? i have the KV-1S already, and am working towards the T150 since i like the thought of a straight-up upgraded KV-1
The IS is great and the IS-3 is a monster. The T-150 is okay but not that great, not familiar with the KV-3 since they moved it up to tier 7 but I can easily beat them in other tier 7 tanks, and I'm told the KV-4 isn't that great. I guess if you have the credits do both lines, but I wouldn't go down the KV line over the IS line.
yeah dude if you're bad you should play to get better you should just leave wow im a genious every game should adopt this stance [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] you're just as bad as the rest

The KV-4 also doesn't get the BL9, but gets a 107 rail gun thats pretty good, but still not as good as the BL-9. Because of that, it gimps you when you get to T9, because you'll have to use a T7 122 when facing off against E-75's and T110's. The IS and IS-3 are good tanks, and because they weren't good tanks because of their armor (besides the IS-3's shell eating side armor) they weren't really affected by the gold ammo change. All in all, both lines are good but the IS line has the most advantages.
I guess if you have the credits do both lines, but I wouldn't go down the KV line over the IS line.
if there's anything i don't have, it's credits. i've had enough XP for the black prince and 59-16 for almost a week, but can afford neither without a lot more credit grinding :-(
What [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] No.
I ask because I'm trying to get my self more clan-wars capable, but have IS-7s fallen out of favor or something in CW? Is the IS-4 actually useful?

I personally quite enjoyed the T-150 and KV-4, although the KV-3 was a tank I didn't do so well in (probably because I didn't yet know how to sidescrape/angle armor properly). Sidescraping in the KV-4 allowed me to laugh at gold shells while actually hitting enemy tanks with the relatively accurate long 107. It's not exactly a brawler, but it was a great bully tank, and the amount of 'fuck you, enemy team' it could dish out was pretty damn nice. I'm not so sure about the IS-3. The 122mm gun is slow to aim and inaccurate, the frontal armor is paper against anything but mediums, but the mobility is nice.

The frontal armor is RIDICULOUSLY trolly at longer ranges, but at short ranges everyone pens either one of the unangled cheeks or your huge LFP. It's a hit and run tank, and fun to play. I have one of my lowest win rates in it (54%) but I generally did quite well and usually a ton of damage too. My eff on it is just 1300 though, I wonder what I did wrong.

It is literally a "fuck you" blitz tank. It has an extremely low profile and it's side armor is still pretty good, even after the nerf. You shouldn't be sniping with it, you should be ramming things and unleasing the BL-9 into their side. IS-3: Best T8 heavy.

I seem to either gravitate towards light, speedy, and very agile tanks with a gun that hits hard (a la 13 90), or big lumbering heavies that can soak up damage like nobody's business (Such as my IS-4). Or the Jumbo. Seriously, that thing is amazing.
accuracy really isn't relevant for a tank like the IS-3. It is literally a "fuck you" blitz tank. I've not been in a tank that can face-hug for quite a while, so I'm well out of practice in close up brawling.
Didn't someone say that the turret top of the IS-3 is made of paper, despite the rest of it being amazing?
You can pen the top turret of the IS-3 when facehugging it, it's very easy.

Some tanks have the elevation to just shoot straight down into the copula or into the engine deck, while others will just bounce off the cheeks. Sometimes the idiots you're facehugging will bounce off the top cause they don't know to aim for the copulas, and other times they'll hit the copulas. Your best bet isn't to face hug, but to lock sides and scoot back and forth
It's Tuesday, anyone up for a tank company? [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] If so, get in Mumble over the next half hour or so and we'll see how many people we have
Here i am playing with saza and generic. Then the ELC came to the rescue.
it was glorious
most if not all platoon games, though still incredibly impressive
Or tank companies. If the client has information, it can be accessed and exploited, there's really no way to prevent it except not to provide the client any information it can exploit.

Predicting the changes to the American light line come the time. T7 takes the place of the of the chaffee at tier 5. The prototype to the M7 (before it was uparmoured) mounting the 37mm and later the 6 pounder. It had a power to weight ratio (with its most powerful engine) of 27.14hp/t. Chaffee moves up to tier 6, but loses its second turret and the T94 76m. The first turret is instead the T24 (the chaffee's prototype turret), while the second is the M24. Instead, it receives the M1A2, taking hits to its soft stats. Tier 7 is the M41. Its pretty much an improved chaffee. Its gun selection is the M1A2 as its stock, the T94 76mm as its second, and the 90mm as its third. Tier 8 is is the T92 light tank. It improves slightly upon the stats of the M41, offering a reduced size and a improved top speed with a high power to weight ratio. It mounts the 76mm T94 as its first gun then the T185 on the T71 as its final gun. Guessing 420m view range at minimum.
