I was at friends home today. He was driving his beloved elite S-51. Now,it turned out that nearly the whole team was ToG's and they did the wall position. My friend annihilated them in 8 goddamn shots. Damn ion cannons. And the exact number of the ToG's was 13(how could this happen i don't know,maybe a troll platoon or something).

How's the front armor on the Caernarvon? What should I get first? I have enough free exp for the turret but it looks like it's going to be a painful stock grind.

The front armor of the caernarvon is a mixed bag of sort. Upper glacis is 260mm LOS. Lower is only a little over a hundred. Its turret manlet can bounce almost anything, but it doesn't cover all. The most important fact to remember about the caernarvon is it is not a brawler. It can lock down an entire area with the 20 pounder and a good position (as long as the lower hull is covered, it is good), but it will suffer close. It simply does not have the DPM or alpha to scare tanks up close like other tier 8 heavies do. What it does have, in spades, in accuracy, penetration and exceptional dispersion and aim time.

Is accelerated crew training broken? I have it on and the past 3 games I have had 750+ xp and the skills have not gone up from 68% in those 3 games

Also note that advanced crew training simply doubles the exp earn for one crew member.
Heh, the hate here towards chinese tanks reminds me of the time when the french tanks were being added.
