Jeez, zero-crit track smacks are annoying.
Can someone explain to me the mechanics of track damage? I'm feeling as though it's like spaced armor.

You can hit the track but the shell will either pass below the body or hit the body.
Tankers!
This is a general announcement that we'll be taking down the NA Clan Wars server following the release of the 8.3 update and will provide additional details tomorrow. That's because we'll be deploying a major update to the NA cluster, including an event that will usher in a brand-new region: North America.
We expect the downtime to take about a week, giving us enough time to make sure everything is deployed correctly and is working. We'll provide updates should this date get pushed back.
Thanks for your patience and we hope you're looking forward to battling over North America as much as we are.
Quickly, we must invade America.
I've completed the SU-100 and I want to know which Soviet Tier 10 TD, in the very long run, is more of a beast; the Object 268 with its laser pointer or the Object 263 with unobtainium armour and high rate of fire?
I like the preliminary looks of all the preceding vehicles, its just that grinding both trees would take longer than just one.
Quickly, we must invade America.
there's gonna be like 50 clans applied to every landing zone, battles going until 2 AM

True, wonder what the gold value of it would be like...middle ground between Euro and Africa?
there's gonna be like 50 clans applied to every landing zone, battles going until 2 AM.
So? I say we go for it. If we get a landing, we can push inwards and (hopefully) sit there for at least a few days before being ousted, and gold is gold.

I wonder if that includes Canada :v:
We should invade anyway. It's not like we lack the T10s.
Get ready Facepunch, I am sure most of us here will be up for taking NA land.
I'll sign up for it.
I'll be fodder but I'll be happy fodder.
NA region as it currently exists on Russian server: http://worldoftanks.ru/uc/clanwars/maps/earth/reg_08/
Looks a bit cramped compared to Europe
I say we take Colorado first.
Wolverines!
Regarding the clan wars changes:
The EU map is going away, the US map is replacing it. That being so, it's likely the entire US, Mexico, and Canada, will be opened, not just what little part the RU server has.
Also, since they are completely wiping the map, it's possible clans will be able to chip in wherever they want, not just the landing zones.
The announcement tomorrow will hopefully have more details.
if orlando doesn't have one of the higher rates of gold income I will be disappointed because it is tourism central

This has been common knowledge for a while
We gots to get Indiana
I need to be in a clan first :v:
Quickly, we must form a list of Tier 10 tanks that would be ideal for Clanwars. I suggest the typical T110 and IS-7 combo with 3 SPG's(may vary on map). Could change one of two of the IS-7/T110's to Maus's if we need a hard brick defense(HP sponge).
the EU map is going away
what

You will get all the details about this tomorrow - but, the NA map is a replacement, not an addition to the EU map.
MoP is writing up a fully detailed article about this for tomorrow - be patient
and
Europe will be turned off tomorrow morning. It will be wiped during the downtime to allow all clans to participate in the first migration event. Once the map is up, Europe will no longer be available; the action will shift to North America along with this event.
We're working on a preview of the event; we'll hopefully have that done and all the details ready to go tomorrow.
why not a few T57s (if anyone has them)

Tier IV Akward-Fat-Child-That-You-Blame-Things-On? (B1)
it makes more sense to have the map in the EU, not the US
man that's whack
Now watch as Washington DC is worth a fuckton of gold and it ends up with 60 clans applying to it.
hes talking about indirect fire arty, not anti tank arty
Also, I did the math from an estimation a while back, and gravity is anywhere from 18-45 times what it is in real life because of their arcs.

The SPG arcs are proscribed, not subject to 'gravity'. They go up and down faster if the target is closer.
