Free xp the tracks and turret, and play the 3601 or 3001H first to unlock guns. 11k xp with the Pz 4's 75mm and another 4.5k before getting out of the 105mm is hellish.
Great fun once elited, though. Only tank I have unicum efficiency and a 63% W/R in.

At least the E-50 gets the 88 L/71 without the tracks (I think).
The Patton has to deal with the M3 until you unlock the tracks, then you gain 10mm of penetration and a little accuracy until you get the 105.
You have no idea how terrible it is to face a T-54 with that gun, at least the L/71 can hurt it with some aiming. Plus the E-50 is a weapon in itself with all that ramming power.

I already have the Pz4's 75mm unlocked and the track. Working on the turret now, though should I get the engine first? Or a turret?
10 sec reload on Maxi-Dee is really hard to get used to.

You absolutely must get the turret and 75mm L/70 gun before working on the engine. It's up to you whether to get the second engine or the short 88mm first, but you need that L/70 before either of those. It gives you the penetration and accuracy that makes you a viable fighter against stuff higher than tier 6.
On a side note, the 3001P has a higher RoF on the short 88 than the other tier 6 German meds (8.7 over 8.11). If you can deal with the shitty pen, you can really ruin some peoples' days.

You can't get the L/70 anymore so his best bet is to use the 105mm.
Every tree has a horrible stock tank to grind, the Germans just have a lot more. They have done work to make it better, especially the medium line.

I've actually been thinking about it, and I'm willing to learn. I've seen enough [B]good[/B] e-100 players to know that it's a force to be reckoned with if used properly, and I've spent a good amount of time looking up how to do that.
That being said, I'm also working up the British tree at the same time too.

Dealing with the German Squad? That's a whole 'nother level of terrifying. It is surprisingly difficult to take out 8400HP when they're slinging 128 APCR and 150 HEAT at you. And the side skirts, good god the side skirts.

The turret on the T-44 is silly, it eats or dings almost anything.
Also the tanks we're taking are Locusts, Luchs, M2 Mediums, and SU-26s.
I've got a Luchs at 100% crew and decked if you need it.

Welcome to the grind, grind it or have a shit tank, there is no other way unless you have a premium tank and some gold to convert free xp you earn on that or another elite tank
Also I had a wierd dream last night that I was playing my hellcat and I earn't some wierd medal. I can't remember what it was called now as typically with dreams you forget all the cool shit but for some odd reason it had a shopping cart icon and I earnt it because every shot I fired swerved off into my enemies tracks which frustrated me greatly but for some reason in the after battle report I did 5000 damage and 6000 spot damage.
Wonder if it was my brain going cold turkey because the past 2 days I've hardly played world of tanks
