Hot damn, 4 Orkel-worshipping posts in a row. You guys know you could become better players just by using some common sense right? The game's not that hard once you figure out the common gameplay patterns people do.
Are you using pure gold rounds?

its either all gold round howitzer or 76mil in tier 7 games
I really want to get into model making but I'm afraid that it'll be too complex or my shaky hands won't be able to glue the parts properly. And forget about painting.

Well I had to change my message to something relevant as I somehow managed to post my previous post again but 30 minutes later.

Thanks to this thread I just few days ago started my first ever model myself, T-55A. What I have noticed is that the gluing itself is not that hard if you use Tamiya cement and ultra thin cement. I'm quite worried about painting tbh as I hate painting anything, whether it is a wall or model. I have not bought any painting equipment yet so it would be nice if NuclearDwarf would post some tips on techniques and equipment.

That's XVM. 2070 is the damage done overall, 320 is your last shot, if it has a skull next to it, it means a kill shot

I'm a beginner myself, so I dont really have that much I can tell
however one thing I do is I assemble the suspension/tracks first, then paint them before assembling anything ontop of that. It's much harder to paint the tracks after you've assembled it all. Give the tracks a black/rusty basecoat then drybrush with some sort of metallic paint. I only have basic equipment (like two brushes and some paint), so I can't really give tips on advanced stuff like weathering or airbrushing.
I guess it also depends on what scale you're doing
I'm doing 1:72, which is tiny(the king tiger is the biggest one, it's still only like 15 cm long :v:). doing something bigger means it's gonna be harder to make it look realistic I guess.
but yea remember to paint in thin layers, use as little paint as possible.

the only tank where this is every game
wonderful special, wargayming

time to abandon t4-6 for this weekend
why does the chi-ha and m5a1 stuart have a t8 and t9 radios(respectivly) that aren't used by any other tanks
why does the chi-ha and m5a1 stuart have a t8 and t9 radios(respectivly) that aren't used by any other tanks
Because they're tanks from other nations so they use radios from other nations except WG is lazy and didn't make the modules transfer between them.
- El-Halluf won't be removed from the map pool for rework
- Serene Coast is scheduled for rework (SS: in 8.4)
- it's possible low tier Chinese tree tanks such as the Carro Veloce CV-33, Japanese Ha-Go and Panzer I will be introduced
- IS-3 will most likely not be introduced as Chinese premium heavy
- the small pictures (icons) of the tank in the hangar are supposed to be made according to how the tank looked in real life
- it's possible the assault mode will have the battle time increased from 10 minutes (but unsure)
- no 105mm L/100 gun planned for the E-50M ("it looks like a fishing pole even on E-100")
- Canadians tanks - it's 100 percent sure they won't get their own tree, but they might appear in the British tree in the Commonwealth part
- T-43 icon won't be changed (SS: some player complained the gun on the icon is unhistorical)
- regarding the fact how will the Japanese Chi-Ha named when the "Chi-Ha" ingame name is in the Chinese tree already: "we'll see"
- German TD "Elefant" won't be introduced as a special vehicle (premium or otherwise) as the differences between Elefant and Ferdinand were very few
- the 75mm Konish gun for the Tiger? "not for now"
- E50M shell prices weird? "ingame economy reasons"
- accumulated XP from tanks won't be freely transferrable
- a "duel" mode (2v2) was mentioned.... (SS: really unclear, probably just a rumor - "If this is implemented - I'll let you know")
- Japanese premium tank in advance before the tree itself? (SS: like the Type was for Chinese and Matilda BP for the British) - "unclear" (as in not decided yet)
- more clan functions planned (when it's done it's done)
- the Soviet gun copy on the Type T-34 weights more than the Soviet original - it's probably just a typo in description
- no real additional details on the German TD branch (supposedly it comes after the German medium branch)
- SerB and Storm prefer to walk and to go by train, SerB has an old Moskvich in the garage and doesn't feel the need to buy a better car
- it's possible that tier 7 arty will not become tier 9 automatically, compensations for "expectations" are unlikely
- private messages within battles are unlikely, in order for the message not to interfere with the battle itself
- the rumor that WoT will move to different engine are false
- identical turrets of the Chinese IS-2? "If you don't want it, don't research it"
- there will probably be free camera in replays
Why do you have no consumables? In a premium tank no less.
Because they're tanks from other nations so they use radios from other nations except WG is lazy and didn't make the modules transfer between them.
Well, it wouldn't be "realistic".
I'm nearly at T9 gameplay and I still don't run consumables like, ever.
I'm talking about making the M5's radios transfer between the US M5 and the Chinese M5A1 since they're the same fucking thing.
Also what kind of WoTard thought about an entire tree of Canadian tanks, there aren't even enough tanks to make half a branch.
I'm nearly at T9 gameplay and I still don't run consumables like, ever.
What the fuck, that's just retarded.

That fucking type 59 is mine.

you deserve to be set on fire then
defender + invader in the same match with jpe of all tanks, what are the chances :v:
shot at the last enemy tank (capping E-100) from base to base (1100 dmg just to mention), as the last remaining tank on our team while capping the enemy base in return.
binocs ftw
[editline]19th January 2013[/editline]
right before i shot that e-100 and saved the game, there was a short convo in chat
i say "shit team"
a t71 sarcastically remarks "yes sure, you werent pro enough to win it either"
then i broke the cap and said "oh really"
t71 suddenly goes into "gg" mode
Can you post the replay?

It's also fucking retarded having to research the 122mm D-25T gun 2 times (both soviet and chinese branch), it even has the same name.
I'm nearly at T9 gameplay and I still don't run consumables like, ever.
yeah thats really really really really really dumb. They don't cost much, you only get advantages by having them.
Does the 59 randomly go on sale?
Does the 59 randomly go on sale?
not really
If you don't use consumables beyond T6+ you suck ass and deserve to be crited every shot.
