It's hard to sit back because of soviet accuracy, especially with the BL-10. That thing fires ground seeking shells, and it's reload time and shell cost don't compensate for it at all.

Take a tier 9 game and our team makes 4 teamkills, cost me 19k credits because of them fucking around.
Next game I take a tier 8 and we get a tier 10 game. NOBODY goes to the city so we pull back to defend cap, so our arty complains at us..yeah I'll take city alone in a centurion with no armour against half their team.
but nevermind because I get killed by all 4 high tier enemy arty firing at me at once.

Get the 105mm if you don't already have it from the PzKpfw IV, then grind the turret since the stock suspension can support it. After that get the L/70, and from there you can pick between the short 8,8 if you can put up with the shitty pen, or the engines to start feeling like a medium.
Don't get the Konisch unless you plan on shooting gold APCR. It is worthless without it, unless some poor sap has only 50 HP left. Course if you do, you have the pen of the Tiger II's 10,5 cm and even better DPM.
VK 3601 is my most-played tank; elite it and go kick some ass.

With the L/100 on the Panther, I could do 1-2k damage in a good round, but about 1.5k was probably my average

I don't know how you're having trouble with the 122 howitzer or the D25T(s). You should have just put a 122 HEAT into the side of the panther to your right. The thing is all ammo racks, you probably would have racked him.
Another one of your problems stems from the fact you're not using consumables. You're at tier 6 now, they're [b]essential[/b] to have. If you don't have or use them, you'll be doing infinitely worse. You should have started using them at tier 5, as long as you don't suck entirely you can easily make back the money you spend on consumables in a match.

I actually liked the KV-1S more before I got the D-25. Even though the D-25 does a completely stupid amount of damage with an equally stupid high penetration for tier 6, I really dislike it's rate of fire and slow aim time. There's really no reason to use any gun other than the D-25 when you get it, but I honestly don't like the gun.

Thats one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Seriously, why the fuck are you not using consumables, especially in a TD?? They have literally 0 downside to having them equipped. Having a repair kit, fire ext. and a health kit only costs 9k, and you rarely ever use all 3 in a match. As long as you don't fucking suck you can easily cover the losses in a single match. If you get flanked and you get tracked in your TD, do you just twiddle your thumbs while that T44 or T-50-2 widdles away your health while you wait for your tracks to repair? Honestly, whats your reasoning???
