Misha attends Yamaku so she can learn sign language and (eventually) become a sign language teacher. She doesn't really have a disability other than her kind-of-thick-headedness.

She attends Yamaku to learn sign language; they have reduced tuition fees for people studying to become teachers in sign language (for example).

I just finished playing this, went with no guide and ended up in Emi's path. It was awesome. I can't believe I actually couldn't wait to wake up and to get back to school just to get back to the game. I shall now do the other routes. But I just accidentally clicked on a spoiler tag and now I know what happens to Misha if you go to Shizune's path and now I don't wanna D:

Lots of people end up with Emi on their first playthrough. If you want to play the route with the least feels, go for Shizune, otherwise, prepare for some big ones.
I just finished Hanako's arc and I am not ashamed to say that I cried at the end of it.
