I played this today. First time I got the Bad End for Rin, which apparently means I pissed off [i]everyone[/i].
Except the choice that gets you the bad ending is such fucking bullshit - how am I to know that [sp]asking her to explain[/sp] would piss her off when saying that I [sp]need to understand[/sp] doesn't? They mean the same thing! And the argument you have if you piss her off that makes her hate you you have later anyway for the good end!
Anyway, Rin's totally the coolest and while the game put me off at first - it seemed to take forever to get going - once I got into it it was really good. It's odd - it's not particularly well written but it just has such a charm to it, and the fact that your choices affect the narrative really makes you care about the characters and what happens.
Also it pissed me off at the start when your character kept saying shit like "oh no there's Rin she'll say dumb shit again!" when a) Rin's comments were generally pretty interesting, he just didn't understand them because he's an idiot and b) he keeps starting conversations with the crazy fucker from his dorm block. Wtf man?
But yeah good game, enjoyed muchly.
The choice isn't that bad. [sp]Rin said numerous times that she can't explain herself, so asking her to is a bad idea. Need to understand is more supportive in that you want to help her find out exactly how she can explain.[/sp]
But glad to hear you liked it. Be sure to replay for the rest of the arcs.

Seems I was almost correct from the start, just with the "ô"-like sound sounding slightly more like "oo". As a Korean exchange student whom I spoke with discovered, for some odd reason it appears to be easier for native speakers of Scandinavian languages to pronounce words in an Asian language correctly than for a native English speaker. It's like many of the common sounds are identical or something, but Scandinavian languages has none of those nasal sounds at all...
Japanese is the easiest Eastern Asian language to learn
Pretty much English with no long vowels
Yet anime dubs make it a point to pronounce everything incorrectly
