I had an English exam on Friday and I wrote a 600 letter essay based on the heart attack part before act one. I used some random male name to replace Hisao. And Lilly instead of Iwanako :v:

On the topic of English assignments and Katawa Shoujo, I had to pick an inspiring quote that resonated with my personal morals and beliefs. I picked the quote in Crescendo from Act 3 of Lilly's route: "Have I ever apologized for my blindness even once? You can't help the way you are born, Hisao. There's no point in apologizing for who you are. You are a beautiful person, Hisao. Please don't apologize for that."

there's no indication that her mother was alive (or at least still with the father) at the time of the fire.

I believe cpl_crud made another fanfic about the fire. He made it before the release of KS, so not everything fits exactly, but it's pretty good.
