Reading reactions to the game is/has been the best thing about these threads. I've no real interest discussing KS with KS regulars anymore because there's nothing new to discuss, and thus there's not much reason to join the Steam community because it consists of just the same core FP-KS players and it never gets any additions. This thread represents the only opportunity for new Facepunchers to get introduced to the game, and thus neither the steam community nor anything else can replace it. In addition to that, I still haven't 100%'ed the game. Heck, I haven't even played Rin's arc.

Tbh i knew about KS's existence just because I happened to wander into this thread. It's the first anime VN i've ever read in my life, and no, i'm not suddenly turned into a damn weabo just because i liked this piece of software.

I have infact discussed KS outside of Facepunch, and according to posts in this thread many others have as well regardless of the status of the FP thread. Yes, the game would be "sort of" visible in the megathread but it simply can't get as much attention there, mainly because the game and the discussion about it is constantly overshadowed by bigger titles. As a fan of the game I naturally strive to prevent it from being pushed into the margins, in part by supporting special promotion of the game in the form of a dedicated thread. You could call that selfish behavior, and you'd probably be right. Had there not been a dedicated thread with that controversial title I would never have clicked on it. This is what I mean by special promotion of the game.

You guys do realize that all of this "waifuism" is still hanging because it turned into an inside joke, right? And I find it hilarious that you're bashing the idea that ks is nothing special in our heads when you were making a fucking non-parady spinoff of it when it came out.
