Funny Katawa shoujo introduced me to Japanese culture. Now I'm a regular participant in the fast anime thread. Funny how life gives you something odd one day, a visual novel about dating disabled girls, that ignites an interest i never knew i had. Lucky, i guess. By the way Doomish, how'd you become a writer? You should get payed for some of the shit that you write man.

Story time! (But not about the feels. Not yet) So, a few months back, I restore my shitty old laptop to factory settings, in hopes that I can use it when at friends houses to play LoL together. However, as of recent, my actual computer basically died on me, leaving me stuck on this thing for a while now. Becoming accustomed to it, I decided a few weeks ago that these random images (Mostly stupid things from FP or 4chan) are starting to clutter up my desktop, so I decide to make an image folder. Not wanting to give it generic name like "Funny Pics" or "Images", my mind trails off as I suddenly see myself typing the name [B]Lemons[/B], and blindly hitting enter. Iunno, just sorta happened. And I wouldn't pay it any mind, but I just so recently became addicted to this little virtual novel you gentleman have so kindly (Yet indirectly) recommended to me. Not knowing where to start, I just play out the game and stick to Emi. Not only did I fall in love with her story and the game, but I found myself coming back to FP (After playing other arcs, of course) to see some general discussion about this experience. Being new here, however, I start from the beginning of the thread. I notice the video entitled [B]Lemons[/B], or something like it. After watching it, I recall that particularly awkward part of the novel. It's just now that my dense self is making the connection to the image folder. I only ever did Hanako's good ending on this and that was like 5 months ago. Should I go back and do the other endings now? And not listen to Megadeth while doing it this time :v:

I cannot listen to this soundtrack, lest it summon unwanted feelings. However, I love to play the songs on piano.

I have had a good ending with Hanako. And the entire half of the game I spent...crying over it. Whenever I think about Hanako being happy again, I think that faith in humanity has been restored. This game has a very beautiful message in itself. Someday I'll change my attitude towards others. <3 KS

So I started playing this VN expecting to be horrified of cripple porn. Was moderately suprised in the end of how its actually really, really good. Inspired me to do more than one arc of the game.
