Katawa Shoujo v2 - "Why can't I hold all these feels?" - Games

Well, decided to get this. Little slow, too slow at times. Also, Kenji is hilarious. Also also, it's funny how I identify with characters so fast. I'm already taking a liking to Lilly and Hanako. Oh god, I'm playing a Japanese VN and unironically kinda liking it WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!

I wish KS had a longer soundtrack. It's not that short, but I would love to hear more.

I still think Shizune is the best. She reminds of a girl I used to fancy really, really badly. And not a crush; this is the sort of thing that lasts years. She was a truely remarkable woman. I get good memories of her from Shizune's route; her tenacity, competitiveness, and bluntness. Then I played Emi's route and all the bad memories of her come back. We fell out not too long ago, see. My attraction was so strong that I felt the need to adapt to what she wanted, no matter what (as in changing my behaviour to make her more happy). Looking back though, I realize I could never have done that, whatever I did. Even if I acted exactly how she wanted, she would never have truely respected me, no matter how much I respected (and still do respect) her. The point where Emi showed her true colours - that she would never let anyone close no matter what they did for her - brought all those flooding back. I don't think I've ever been this affected by a game before. It's like the two different routes I've played so far are simply... 2 different perspectives on my relationship with the same person.

I don't have the patience for visual novels, but I just finished Rin's good ending. I want to get Lilly's next, but I doubt I'll get to it for some time.
