Excuse my ignorance but what are these "feels" that many of you are referring to? How do you attain these "feels"? Where and when does one attain them? And last but certainly not least... Why would one want to attain these "feels"? Thanks in advance!

Shizune's wasn't brilliant in parts, but it was satisfying overall. I felt sad that I knew I had to leave her... Even more so considering I just left school.

Whenever I play games with sufficient immersion (depends on a lot of factors), I become the protagonist. It's not just about sympathizing or identifying with the character you're controlling. "Hisao" is just the arbitrary reference to a personality that I personally step into when I play KS (just like I "am" Gordon Freeman when I play Half-Life). Immersion creates a sense of emotional involvement. Though at some points in the plot it was impossible to stay immersed because the writers had made Hisao just too damn stupid.

Its hard to feel that way at times when hisao is constantly saying stuff i wouldn't and not saying what i would.

Overall I think the writing generally made enough sense to sustain the belief that we're occupying Hisao's role (for me, much of the way he speaks feels familiar), but at some point it's darn right impossible. It's a result of the balance issue between subtlety and plot permeability.

That said, to actually obtain them, you'll be well off to play this game. Is that any more clear?
