I find it obnoxious that the only route in which Hanako actually [sp]makes friends outside of Lilly and Hisao is Lilly's[/sp]
I've always rationalized it by thinking Hanako's arc was taking place over a much shorter period of time than Lilly's arc, so by the time her arc ends she hasn't yet made the progress we see in Lilly's. From another point of view I believe including [sp]Hanako making friends and not requiring l would've been a critical point to include, otherwise it might've seemed like Hanako ended up terribly lonely and vulnerable when Hisao stepped in and grabbed Lilly's attention[/sp].
I love how the original thread was just showered with funnies and dumbs, the whole thread was just people dedicated to hating on it. Come Katawa Shoujo V2 and it's winners and people having emotional breakdowns while rabidly defending their favourite girl. :v: Once again the almost cliche phrase applies- "Don't judge a book by its cover"
I've also made a bunch of wallpapers I made for the guys over at /ksg/ for their #1000 edition, but I'm not sure if they'd be as relevant here...
It makes sense with the route of the problem, though. Hanako was being coddled and she wasn't able to grow into the beautiful firefly that she was destined be
I always assumed that Hanako eventually grew out of her shell and [sp]joined the journalism club and reconciled with Lilly when she went away[/sp], just without Hisao's help. She's strong, Hisao only helped her out more [sp]or not. Don't bad ends, guys.[/sp]
Just got the good ending for Rin on the first try! Now I need to get the bad and neutral ending to 100% this game. I've been on this emotional rollercoaster for long enough.

That'd be like crashing the rollercoaster. Into a school bus full of kids. [editline]26th January 2013[/editline] Hey I better unload the emergency content because of new page. Playing this when I'm already sad was a bad idea.
Playing this when I'm already sad was a bad idea.
I play Max Payne 3 to counteract feels being a washed up action man with a horrible life and a drinking problem always counteracts the feels for me somehow
good ending for Rin on the first try!
That's pretty much a needle in a haystack.
That's pretty much a needle in a haystack.
I never got any of the bad endings, I really just gave the other character space if I got the chance and what the fuck ever :v
Rin's neutral is worse than her bad ending.
I finished both endings and I agree. It was almost painful when she said she's good at forgetting things for the last time.
I play Max Payne 3 to counteract feels being a washed up action man with a horrible life and a drinking problem always counteracts the feels for me somehow
I need to try that.
That's pretty much a needle in a haystack.
I did it first try as well. The weird thing is, I was dead certain I was on one of the bad endings until the very end. Rin's a mystery.
Let me tell you a quick story KSG. Woke up at 3am today after getting about 2 hours of good sleep in, because yesterday I felt like shit and I never get good sleep anyway. Had an epiphany after dreaming about the guy I could be; somebody with someone to love me but zero drive and motivation. So I spent the whole dream trying to get drive and motivation at her prodding after I revealed that I had a whole room full of crazy (walls covered in paper and shit, I'll explain it properly later but you get the idea) So I needed to figure it out, and when it got to the point where I started wondering what I wanted to see in the future. And then it hit me like a sack of bricks that were obvious in hindsight. You have to like yourself to be motivated to do anything, because doing anything means sticking around. If you don't like sticking around, you don't like working towards anything real. I can't believe it had taken me so long to figure that out. So I had another tough start after waking up at about 7am after another 3 or 4 hours of good sleep, and you know what? I felt like sleeping in, but I couldn't do that to myself. I need to run, I need to get in shape and start working on stuff that I've been putting off these holidays. So fuck giving up like that. I am worth more than that. I know that now. And this is weird for me, but probably not for any of you guys, but I have KSG to thank for it. You guys with your motivational thinking eventually paved the way for me to figure this out by myself. So thanks guys. And thanks [sp]Hanako[/sp] for playing an excellent fake but wise girlfriend. I'm saying this now because I might not see you guys for a little while. I've got a lot to do, and right now I'm readying up to go for a jog, and when I get back I need to start writing a script for a project of mine. Thank you, everyone. I'm going to get my shit together.
I know it gets a little pathetic in some places, but I just thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing [sp]what I'm like on[/sp] the other side. Same thing about thanks and goodbye applies here, by the way. I'll see you all in a little while.
Damnit Hisao. You switch between being an charismatic ladykiller and an absolute retard at a moments notice.
Damnit Hisao. You switch between being an charismatic ladykiller and an absolute retard at a moments notice.
Plot twist, Hisao's actual disability is crippling autism not arrhythmia.
Plot twist, Hisao's actual disability is crippling autism not arrhythmia.
That makes perfect sense considering he wears a fucking sweater-vest.
dude you leave the fucking swagger vest alone
hisao more like shitsao
dude you leave the fucking swagger vest alone
Sweater-vests are for pedophiles, old people, and 30-somethings that still live with their mothers.
That makes perfect since considering he wears a fucking sweater-vest.
A fucking argyle sweater-vest no less.
This thread reminds me that Emi must be waiting for me to finish the story.
This thread reminds me that Emi must be waiting for me to finish the story.
Oh god, that reminds me of that 4chan post where some guy posted he had a dream that Yamaku was real and he had to kill himself to get there, and all the KS girls were there waiting for him, and the guy was seriously considering getting hopped up on drugs and killing himself. Why.
This thread reminds me that Emi must be waiting for me to finish the story.
don't forget to bring the lemons
don't forget to bring the lemons
Just not a lemon like this:
I kinda want like an expansion on it that gives you a little more freedom, more choices more often etc I don't know why, I've only done three playthroughs upto now so I'm far from finished
I kinda want like an expansion on it that gives you a little more freedom, more choices more often etc I don't know why, I've only done three playthroughs upto now so I'm far from finished
The amount of freedom in the game is normal for a visual novel, The choices are just ways to segway you into different routes (they are novels after all.)
segue-way, not segway. segways are the little things that nerds and disney world employees ride on.
