I am loving this game each time i go through the next arc but honestly the hardest feeling of it all is after completing a arc and knowing what you went through and starting another arc... well it feels like im cheating and shit and oh god. damn it girls!
Managed to get to Act 2 with Hanako.
Can thoroughly say, these feels are of much joy.

Well that escalated quickly.
Just finished the story with Hanako.
Seemingly a lot of people like her, but on the other hand she seriously is the most likeable person, and the most interesting one as well.
Rin shared my interest of art, but her emotionless state and objectiveness made me uninterested.
Emi was too energetic, and so was Misha (not to mention rude).
Shizune proved way too competetive for my liking, and Lilly just wasn't that interesting. I suppose "posh" would be the right word?
Meanwhile Hanako was there in the distance but increasingly interesting of a character, even when she was just "mysterious" in the back.
This has to be some of the most beautiful writing I have ever experienced, and some amazing visuals to go with it. While I never actually cried, I was very bordering it at some points.
The writing not only made me relate to emotions, it made me feel what the character was feeling.
I felt genuine concern for Hanako when she went to the infirmary, I felt truly annoyed by Misha and Shizune's constant barraging me - hell, during the scenes prior and during the sex scene I felt truly awkward, nervous and scared.
And being a generally empathy-less person, that REALLY significes how brutally clever the writing is.
I got two bad ends, though, in my quest to go with her. First one was falling to my death with Kenji, the other being disagreeing with Lilly on the phone, thus making my relationship with Hanako completely platonic.
I got the good ending, though. Complete with sex and everything (despite the uncertainty of it, and frankly being a bit surprised that Hisao made the move so quickly without questioning it even once).
But that ending artwork, man. That was just beautiful.
This entire game was beautiful, I really can't even put it in words (despite just doing so).
I love it.

You really need to go through and get the various endings with everyone before forming an honest opinion on this, honestly. Especially with Rin. Her lack of ability to express what she's feeling/thinking starts off as annoying but becomes a more interesting part of her whole when you go down the other endings.

Part of me wants to, part of me really doesn't - I loved the ending I got with Hanako and like someone prior to me said, I have this feeling at the back of my head basically telling me it would be wrong - almsot like cheating. And starting off with Hanako was probably the worst decision in terms of replayability, because knowing her story and knowing I made her happy makes me feel like going on an adventure with another girl would mean she'd be sad.
This fucking story, man. It truly plays with my emotions in a way no book or movie has ever been able to do.
I've only done Hanako's route and Shizune's [sp]as research for that fanfic I co-write[/sp]. Have no desire to play the others. Maybe Rin, but no interest in Emi. And HA, i'll never do lillys
Uh have fun missing out? You should really do the rest, apart from Shizune (She's debatable) most of the routes are amazing.
I've noticed Hisao's eyes are gray in the FMVs, but brown pretty much everywhere else you see them.
Weird stuff. Bit of an art inconsistency I'd say. Kinda hard to mess up info like "This is Hisao and he has brown/gray eyes".

I suppose the thing about Hisao is he's supposed to be a sort of representation of the player. He has a general appearance, but it's never specifically described, leaving most of his appearance up to interpretation. I wouldn't say that there's a [I]right[/I] appearance for Hisao.
