Your image of the game fits the first-glance prejudice which me and a number of people are trying to suppress by discussing the game in a positive way that promotes it and inspires other readers to try it. In other words, we're trying to "de-weird" the game, and the quirkyness of some of these posts aren't exactly helping (sarcasm is hard to detect over the Internet).

On the one hand, you have a VN about dating cripples. With H-scenes. On the other hand, you have an uplifting piece of art that goes beyond the physical and stimulates your emotions. I just don't think completely praising the game is the right way to go about advertising it.

My problem is that for the last two-dozen pages the balance has shifted severely towards the former and it's getting out of hand. It's one thing to go bonkers with in-jokes and waifu-discussions within the tight-knitted KS community in the Steam group chat, a different thing to goof around the main thread which every potential Facepunch-player is gonna read. Not that it matters a damn bit in the greater scale of things, just my two Icelandic eyrir. I still love you guys.

I guess you're kind of right, but i really doubt anyone's going to take us for real, especially with all the funnies being thrown around. Oh well, I'm over the game already anyway, mainly. it was a great thing that made me feel things I hadn't for a long time but that's over. Good while it lasted.

Katawa is a great thing that uncovered feels I thought I have lost and given up on long ago. I will follow it until the end, but when the inevitable happens, I know I will be ready to move on a better person.
