Actually everything in this game is very well done, which is both surprising and a bit frustrating because I can't talk about this game to anyone IRL since it's most shorthand description is still "anime cripple porn"
I still like Rin's arc the best. I just think Rin is one of the most interesting characters in the entire VN, and it's probably the one arc I'll replay first.
Yeah, Rin's arc is the reason I'm not uninstalling this game once I finish it
Actually everything in this game is very well done, which is both surprising and a bit frustrating because I can't talk about this game to anyone IRL since it's most shorthand description is still "anime cripple porn"
I got two of my friends into it, so I talk to them about it from time to time. It just started with me telling them I started reading something good, and they got pretty curious. I'd just tell em about it, but I'd only mention the fact that you have sex with them once they've already started. It really depends on your friends, though. Mine are pretty open to new things, so I knew they'd at least give it a try if I told 'em it was good.
Mine are all machinists like myself, therefore they're mostly not internet savvy, don't speak english all that well and aren't into stuff like this :suicide: I'm going to an art school next year though, so I wonder what kind of people are going to be there [editline]26th February 2012[/editline] wow you meet Lilly's sister really fast in her arc
Cos it's her sister?

Is the touching of people's faces a normal activity blind people take part in?
I'd assume it's more normal than what non-blind people do, as it's the only way they'll be able to tell what you look like
Yeah, that's what I thought. It makes practical sense.

I have always felt really bad for Misha because if you pick Shizune's route there is literally no way to make sure she is happy and not just pretending to be happy for your benefit. From what you learn about Misha through all the other paths, you can tell that her loud, boisterous "WAHAHAHA~!" personality is possibly just a guise, because even when you DO get the opportunity to comfort her (in a sense of the word), [sp]there's no passion, it's a robotic sex act that eventually leads to making things even worse[/sp].

I told myself I'd finish my VN beta by the end of this weekend but I played video games so excuse me that this is so short but: Delaying the Feminist Attack Beta 0.1 Rushed Edition: http://www.mediafire.com/?5ye6447o95ikat8
Things were getting to be a little too much, but I felt the wet slapping of skin cease and I opened my squeezed-shut eyes, looking downward. Akira snickered as the hair tie knotted tightly around the base of my shaft and I grunted. "Don't want you going off without my permission, got me?" She winked slyly at me. That just wasn't fair. [SEXY THINGS HAPPEN HERE, LOL WRITING OUT OF ORDER] She bucked and writhed on top of me, and as she saw my expression crumple in anguish as I reached my limit, she slowed down and chuckled, drawing out the torture. "What's the matter, Hisao? Can't outlast a lady like me?" And, to be honest, I wasn't sure I could. She chuckled again as she bounced slowly up and down my length, shaking her head. "You're hopeless, honestly."
So I'm writing a thing. It's, uh, going to be interesting.
you're a writing machine holy shit you churn out this shit
I'll be honest, my writing is quick and messy (like a proper sexual encounter with Akira should be, hence the story). It's scatterbrained and I like it that way. Sometimes I use foul, harsh language, sometimes I hit the backspace key and retype things because of how badly they flow. I just write whatever I feel like; and right now I am not spending time with my girlfriend, and therefore feel like a horny bastard. When I'm in a somber mood, I write for Little Faith. I have a mindset preserved specifically for certain stories. When I'm just bored, I churn out stuff like, well, Akira fapfics. People have asked me why I write so quickly, and it's because I don't really have anything better to do.
trust me i wish i could be like you, i wish i could have an idea and just write endlessly about it, even if it isn't 100% coherent my writing style is so clunky and i can never find a comfortable way to get words onto a page and that's why it's taking me forever to write the misha arc
Anyone else doing the running chart? Just finished week 6
I think I'm going to start in March as it gets really warm already.
trust me i wish i could be like you, i wish i could have an idea and just write endlessly about it, even if it isn't 100% coherent my writing style is so clunky and i can never find a comfortable way to get words onto a page and that's why it's taking me forever to write the misha arc
All you have to do is find your niche. Keep at it, and I guarantee you'll find a style that works for you. A lot of people write differently than others, and that's perfectly fine. Compare the different arcs in KS written by different people. They have different pacing, Hisao narrates different things; it changes a lot between Act 1 and Act 2 of whoever you end up with. But, regardless, it still flows, and that's the most important thing in writing. In Cutter, I couldn't just have Hanako cut herself and feel instantly better the next day. In With Apologies, I couldn't kill off Emi and have her pop up around the next corner. In Little Faith, I couldn't have Hisao tackle the dark version of himself across a table right in the middle of lunch. What you have to do before you sit down to write is think about things. Perspective. Think about the characters, think about the situations they find themselves in. If you have your own story, it's more difficult because you came up with the characters yourself and have to describe them as you go, but Katawa Shoujo has given you six or seven templates for you to bend at your own will. There are a lot of girls to pick from and a lot of scenarios you could put them in, and that's why fanfiction is so fun for me. I get to meld things to my will, because they're all laid out for me already. Another important thing about writing is that you have to be free, you have to use your motions to your advantage. Leave no stone unturned. Be descriptive. Motion. If you have an idea, balls to it, just write the thing in and decide if you want to keep it later. One of the very first ideas that came into my mind for Little Faith was 'Akira holding a shotgun and posing like a badass', even though she has literally nothing to do with the story so far. I took that idea and wrapped the concept around it, because I knew what I wanted to happen, but not how it was going to get there. Contrast that with With Apologies, where I took Ellison's concept and ran with it, because I had literally everything I needed to do the story right at my fingertips, and all I had to do was type along to the lyrics and harmonies as they flew by me, as if the story itself was a siren song come alive. Writing takes thought, thought that everyone has inside of them, I'm positive. All you need to do is find how you want to write, and write that way. Put your fingers to the keys and let them do the work. Just do it! I believe in you! tl;dr: :eng101:
Lol I always get all twitchy when I see posts about people writing stuff because I'm good at literature, but I think I got burned out way back in 2008 when I wrote some 80,000 word thing.
WRITE IT. WRITE IT FOR HER. [editline]edit[/editline] If I could write a 180-some-odd page story about cute anime girls being forced through horrible psychological strain then dammit anyone can write anything! :argh:
Doomish you should write for my Akira sex scenes cos I just can't write fapfics at all. Also writing a short side fic while I'm stumped on Broujo ideas, Doomish you will be proud.

Broujo is dead. The owner just keeps using it as a excuse to say that he posts in here.
LuaChobo continues to insist it is not dead and I believe him for the most part. I am of course writing a horror path for it in which Kenji does terrible things to good Hisaos for fun. He does want the writers to start sending him stuff though so he can actually get things done.
