Valve says "Hang In There" For EP3 of Half Life. - Games

It's going to be called Episode 3. It's going to be really long. Half Life 3 would mean that it would have a completely different storyline.

The only thing I can think of now is that the Episodic series would need to end with Gman in order for HL3 to be consistent, like how HL1 and HL2 ended before Episode One began. Thing is, unlike Freeman, Gman's actor is not exactly immune to aging in reality, so unless that dude recorded the audio for HL3, right now, I am wondering if they are distracting us from cast changes instead. The guy that played the vort in Episode Two was not the same actor. If Episode Three comes out no later then 2013, we have to calculate the math between Episode Three, to HL3. If HL3 comes out after 2016, then I would assume Gman would have to be re-casted, but I can't accept that now. They could pull a whole new twist and release HL2 Episode Three, with HL3 at the same time, but I can't imagine them doing that. Oh, by the way, does anyone remember ( steam://install/92 ) and how it was supposed to be an April Fool's day joke, but ended up delayed until May 2004 instead? I mean even now, if they teased us with a different game like that, so we would have an idea, it would be better then nothing.

i already have the episode 3 announcement thought up in my head :allears: gabe will be at E3 talking about their next game after DOTA2, the war box. he will be talking about all the cool stuff that the war box contains: Counter Strike 3 and Day of Defeat: Island Assault... and then as he wraps up his speech he pulls a one more thing moment and announces that due to steam's rapid ability to prepare a game for launch that they will sell episode 3 in one week
