of course it looks like ut3. even gears of war looks like ut3. the only unreal-engine 3 based game that doesnt really LOOK like ut3 is mirrors edge.

Fuck yeah, I always thought this mod looked awesome, but I didn't have UT3, so I couldn't play it. Now I will be able to, without spending any money.

Next time, take a look at the actual installed files. While indeed it is not "proper" Unreal Engine 3, It has FAR more in relation with the UE3 engine than the UE2 engine. (as the Bioshock wiki page states, "Unreal Engine 2.5 technology was used by previous Irrational Games titles including SWAT 4 and SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate." If you've played either of those (I have), it's child's play to see the differences.)
The modified engine is so close to UE3 it doesn't matter to differentiate it, but it's missing some of the final features UE3 was released with.

So, I installed this and played it with some random people and it is fun. It's a lot harder than Killing Floor is, even on Suicidal. It's got a nifty weapons upgrade system, all the characters have different weapons, and it is hard. It's a lot of fun tho. Enemies will pull off some crazy stuff. There is one that spins and will deflect your fucking bullets so if you're close by, you better roll the hell away from him or you are dead. Whats worse is when he shows up with this guy who does a ground pound and stuns you. Good fun tho.
Also, I played as the Sagat guy and melee'd the shit out of everything while yelling "TIGERTIGERTIGERTIGERTIGERTIGERTIGER" in my mic and it was fucking awesome.

Anyone still play this? I haven't seen any servers and I've been wanted to play multiplayer.
Looks rather good, just too midget-like, and i can't play mods on UT3 right now.
