I can see many uses for fire in creative.
I bet it won't do anything but look pretty in creative, just like TNT.

It works again. Also, i just got that infinite resource glitch. Twice. Within the same 2 minutes of eachother. This time with sand on a deep floating hell map

Guys, try to get the infinite resource glitch yourself, it's getting really common for me. Try to get around 99 blocks of sand, then make a jump-tower type thing. (You know, where you keep jumping and putting a block below you). And then, while you're standing on the your little tower you just made, just keep destroying the blocks below you, and i guarantee you'll get the infinite glitch at least once within 2 tries.
Is it possible to get one of those floating island levels (or the level generator itself) for the current version? I really want to play on a floating island map with a couple of friends.
