If you want to make an exact duplication of the map from an isometric view (or include shadows) you could use this, but the other renderer is much more aesthetically pleasing. I was just in Heavy Petters server. Nice place, but the OP's are a bit spooky. You erase one block by accident and they watch you around the clock. But I did repair a ship all by my self. Can someone help me with something? I just got a new Acer Aspire for christmas with windows 7, thats all good and great but when I play Minecraft it lags like shit (Even with fog level to closest) and randomly locks up. Can someone help me with this? By all means it should be able to play it fine.

Personally I think that everyone is too sensitive about "griefing". It seems silly to me that if anyone builds something then no one is allowed to touch it ever again - even if they want to expand upon it or improve its construction. I mean, it's not like any construction will ever last forever (other than in screenshot form) since everything eventually gets griefed or the server changes map. It would be so much more interesting if people could [i]accept[/i] the ephemeral nature of constructions in Minecraft and allow others to freely expand upon and modify their buildings. As it is now, everyone builds things and then just jealously guards them - even though they aren't "using them" in any way anymore. What's the point? They're all just sculptures of a sort anyway. Take a few screenshots and then let it go.

I haven't actually gotten around to playing this game before, I played some Infiniminer but I don't think this was out back then. What client do you recommend using? Also if any one is still looking for someone to give the [url=http://minecraft.net/xmas/]gift thing[/url] to, I'd appreciate it (Username is Cyborgmatt).

It's too neat and pristine. Use the rugged block of rock to make forts or castles, makes it look manly. Also, your moat is horrible. It's like a pixie moat or a fairy moat. Just channel water into it :( Doing forts injustice.

It doesn't matter if it never gets touched. It's knowing it's still there. Screenshots only bring back bad memories. You can't just move on for something that took you hours to build, then see someone tear it up in 5 seconds. You'd want to murder the person that did it.

Benie is right. I saw some poor guy build a huge sky castle and then some prick who was hacking just flew up and tore it all down. And he kept making the owner fall all the way down, then when the owner respawned, he'd delete the blocks he spawns on. Was such a dick move.

But often things stick around for days after being built and nothing is done with them other than being a pretty thing to look at. They might as well be used for other players enjoyment.

I am all for people modifying my structures to improve or expand them after I am finished with them and have moved on - but I don't want them trying to fuck with it while I am working on it.
