Wouldn't you just follow a guy throughout the nine circles and go for Purgatory? (I haven't read the book yet)

(I haven't read the book yet)[/QUOTE] Yeah, if the game followed the book you'd just follow Dante through the nine circles (without fighting, only some platforming when you have to swing off Satan's hair), then through purgatory and then to heaven, not very exciting. So it's better like this, though I don't really see why call it Dante's Inferno, they could have used his circles anyways (because if you rename the main character of the game to something else than Dante, then the circles become the only thing that connects the book and game). They probably did it because it's a very well known name.

Is the book worth reading? I've been thinking of buying it before I even heard of the game.

Read a few lines of this, it should give you a good idea of how it is: [url]http://www.italianstudies.org/comedy/Inferno1.htm[/url] So yes, it is worth reading for the cultural value, but it's not something to be read before going to bed (it's not that kind of book).

I fucking love Blood: The Last Vampire and Samurai Champloo, but the movie for this looks like utter shit.

I bet a bunch of stupid turds will check this book out of the library after the game's release and be like "wtf were's the part were dante stabs satan in his faec? dis book sux" I could not stop laughing at the movie trailer. Everything "Dante" says reminded me of South Park whenever somebody is doing an exaggerated tough-guy voice. I'LL SHOW HELL WHAT REAL RASSLING IS

Also i think i noticed something on the Story Trailer. Are you haveing sex with Cleopatra :q:? That circle is getting more fucked every time i see something about it.

The entire circle is based around Lust, hell, Cleopatra is supposed to consist of various sexual organs all across her body (her tongue is supposed to be an orgy of bodies.)

Also, this is made by the bros from Visceral agames formerly known as EA Redwood who made Dead Space. So 100% quality :D the art is made by Wayne Barlowe. Personally I think the movie looks really good, it differs alot from typical SPIKYHAIRSAYAINSUPERMEGA anime.
