Oh you meant the movie. Yeah the Voice acting is pretty shit on that one.
Well yeah, the movie trailer is what you quoted
Personally I think the movie looks really good, it differs alot from typical SPIKYHAIRSAYAINSUPERMEGA anime.
I hope you aren't being serious.
I hope you aren't being serious.
Fuck opinions man, I mean shit, if someone has an opinion they can't be serious. Shit.
No, your opinion is stupid cause it's uneducated.
Well I don't really see the part in the movie where they get really spiky blonde hair and yell something in japanese while being gullible "lolis"
It's blind anime hating. I've never watched an anime like that besides DBZ. You're just being a unneccesary dick.

So I've watched this anime called Yakitate!! Japan and I enjoyed it even though it lacked (though parodied) gullible "lolis" from time to time and even LOTR.
Yes, you go on about that while not knowing anything of what I like or not. Also I know not all anime is DBZZZZ
You basically said "oh wow, this looks like it won't be like every other anime that has everything evryone hates about anime."
You basically said "oh wow, this looks like it won't be like every other anime that has everything evryone hates about anime."
Well nearly all anime is that I said so a stereotype is in all fairness pretty okay here.
I disagree
The movie looks uttershit really. Not even close as good as the game does.
The game itself looks pretty good and i have to agree with the developers that if they would've created a game based on the book itself only it wouldn't rake in much cash, this shit sells so that's what they'll do.
Looks good anyway i might get it when the price drops a little. ;D
Selling it with a title like Dante's Inferno seems like a strange strategy. I can't really connect people who play incredibly violent and gory video games to classic poetry, not that you can't like both but that doesn't exactly seem to be a big target market.

They really fucked up on the name. But i doubt people will care so much of the name when they buy the game.
I just read about it in game informer. Looks sweet. Now I want to go read that book....
I really don't want people to start reading this because of the game.
I really don't want people to start reading this because of the game.
Well the people who are going to read the book because of the game aren't going to read the whole book :P
I am going to the library soon to get the book. Not because of the game, But it's a classic.
I can see that happening. I was reading it about 6 months ago and I was on vacation and left it there :( I need to buy it again.
I only read part of it for my British Literature class, but it was pretty interesting... I can't remember if the whole text was in my textbook or not. I'm not familiar with how long it is

its arranged into 9 circles. The first seven circles generally have about 1-2 Cantos (Chapters) each, but 8 and 9 go FOREVER. There are a few translations, mine goes for about 265 pages, 10 stanzas a page. So around 2650 stanzas.
I liked the look of this, until I saw how retarded they made the story. Beatrice is NOT imprisoned in hell, ever. I mean what the hell. Honestly. It's like saying the whole purpose of Frodo's journey to Mt. Doom was to record a hardcore porn movie with Sauron.
I think this game isn't Dante's The Divine Comedy. It just takes place in Dante's Inferno.
If you think of it that way, it's better.

I wonder how they will make the 8'th and 9'th Circle in the game. By the looks of it, they will have to change a lot. I just hope they don't change too much.
I bet the movie is gonna suck pretty hard. Game looks pretty badass though.
Damnit their reasoning for fucking with Dante's Inferno is exactly why no one takes video games seriously.
YEAH MOTHERFUCKER, IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD GAME.
This makes me want to read the book. We read the first three circles and the end of the ninth in school and I really liked it. I know the book isn't all that similar to the game, but I really like the depictions of hell and Dante's theology is pretty thought-provoking.

I hate it every time I see the developer say "I read the poem and I knew right away that this would make a video game (cocks head to the left and nods it)"
How fun would the game be when Virgil only has to say:
"Do not attempt to stop his fated journey;
it is so willed there where the power is
for what is willed; that's all you need to know."
Then you get past every single "boss".
Okay I'm joking, its a game, they can do whatever they want, I guess thats why they dropped "The Divine Comedy" bit. Pretty cool how they thought up "guts" instead of "mud" for Gluttony. I'm looking forward to see the interpretation.

Uh you mean every time the developer says "Yeah the original poem would not make a good game because these dipshit wiggers won't like it".
No. In one ove the dev diaries someone says it like that.
It is in Greed I think, and he says that the original poem would not make a good game.
