Looks nice, i love games like those. holy shit it comes out on my birthday :buddy: (EU)
I loved Dead Space, and to have Visceral add Issac as a special treat into their next game? Awesome.
One thing is, why did this guy's love interest want, or even TRY for that matter to dethrone God?
Looks kickass.
Unfortunately the gameplay is another matter entirely.
I read the poem, [del]for nothing[/del] it was pretty good although, seeing that it isn't coming to the PC.
I read the poem for nothing, seeing that it isn't coming to the PC.
Not nothing.
Yeah, that was really arrogant.
Wait, not for PC? :sigh:
Italians =/= Medieval.
Just played the demo (uploaded to the UK PStore today), and I noticed that this is yet another game with the sword-attack skipping problem!
What does that mean?
Loads of action-adventure games have a problem on my PS3 where when I hit someone with a sword the image just stops for a split second. It happens in Genji, GoW, some mech game and this.
How is the demo overall? Would you buy the game?
It's exactly the same as God of War, so it's a clone of a good game. So it's a good game. Just got the book today for christmas. And the Demo comes out today aswell.
Listen: this game is stupid. Hey, maybe they would have had more trouble making a fun game out of the poem if they were more respectful to the original content. This isn't an immediate excuse for making a God of War ripoff, and slapping, "Dante's Inferno," onto it. Games DON'T HAVE TO BE FUN. They don't have to be badass. Look at Silent Hill! Look at every point and click adventure game you've ever cherished. They could have definitely made something thoughtful and interesting and exploratory, but they've even managed to ruin any impact that their graphical rendition of Hell could have had by forcing you to blitz through it and splatter it all in guts before you can take a look around you. The isometric slasher gameplay inducing camera angle is horrible for any attempt to show off an interesting environment. They might as well have this game on the PS2.
Oh lol, They are making an anime about this game.

It's god of war, but with a different storyline, a storyline that is infact, not Dante's Inferno. So why is it called Dante's Inferno instead of God Of War: Satanic Crusade Edition.
God of War did not invent Hack&Slash. And i don't think God of War should be the only one that is in this style.
Games DON'T HAVE TO BE FUN.
What. I semi-agreed with the other stuff you said but that kind of throws off your point.
Hey guys, let's fight about the decisions the devs make in a place they can't listen! Cool your jets, long tl;dr paragraphs about the games title are easily skipped over. It is titled this way because it is based OVER the poem. Not ON it.
if you watched the videos they say that they know it's a loose reinvisioning of the poem, but they have to make some choices to steer away from the Divine Comedy, otherwise it wouldn't be as fun to play. It's meant to be played and enjoyed, not seen as a substitute for the poem itself. It's their homage to Dante.
This is a shitty game with beautiful cutscenes and titties around every corner.
Homage. perfect word, thank you sir! I am definitely gonna Gamefly this at least, it looks like it has potential, the level design is quite excellent, due to it's roots in the circles. They had something very great to go off, best source material for a disturbing journey I could think of right now!
Also; rate me clocks if it's been said but this has the same level designer as God of War, so expect it to be awesome.
Really? I didn't know that! Well then, he can breathe life into the circles if anyone can.
What. I semi-agreed with the other stuff you said but that kind of throws off your point.
Tell me why a game has to be fun. Why can't a game simply be an experience, providing any range of moods and feelings, from sadness to anxiety? Look at Heavy Rain, Silent Hill, and Ico. Take a gander at Penumbra, which I can assure you is probably the opposite of fun. How about World of Warcraft? And let's not forget the thousands of text and point ant click adventures from days gone by.
Hahaha this man obviously cares about ratings! He rated everyone dumb and himself agree. You sir need to find a way to get a life. Trolling doesn't count as a life by the way.
