After those 110 beta hours I've played, it's actually live? Exciting stuff.

Steam store says it is released.

After 10 years it's finally here! I hope all the new players will have as much fun as I've had in this game during the 380 hours (and counting) played.

Steam said a 5gb download but only downloaded 2.1gb.

It's probably compressed and will decompress at the end of the download into 5gb

Is this worth it? because i dont want to buy the game if it dies after 1 year or a couple of months like Red Orchestra 2 and Wargame : European Escalation.

God damn this game suffers heavily from team stacking since the last time I played this.

I should think there'd be an auto-balance in place, no?

Its the top seller. I don't know how many sells that is but hopefully a lot.

It has not been empty a single time.

It becomes about 8v8 but that doesn't really change anything because the marines have all these good players and are well coordinated while our team has some new players and a rookie commander that never gives out commands and it becomes us never getting upgrades at all and them getting everything they ever need.

Well, to be honest. I find this build the most balanced since last few that came out, I've experienced many rine wins and so do alien ones on different servers with different people. Ofcourse that comm can change the game if he gives good commands... but even without "commanding" comm, you can communicate with your team to organize things, you can call out for help and so on. Talking commander just makes it a bit easier.

I love the community. I know there are a few elitists in NS1 but it definitely isn't the case in 2. They gave advice, were helpful and refer to new players as rookies instead of noobs. Its nice to see the community help new players get into the game especially when most competitive games like this tend to have a horrible community.

I was sitting in a egg waiting to go Onos but a marine comes in with a grenade launcher and starts blasting away at the hive whilst moving forward, he gets closer to my egg and I spawn right when he is inches away and fires a nade thus hitting me in the face and the blast kills him. Tactical spawn.

Natural Selection 2, i.e why the fuck cant i join any damn server. i purchased the game and i can find servers, however joining servers. Nah apparently not. I click a server, tries to load. Times out every time, then sometimes it goes to a black screen after it and then times out, one time i got in THEN it timed out.... Basically i keep timing out. Are there any ports to forward, i use a BT Homehub 2.0 in the UK and that ###### is damn annoying about having to forward ports to get anything to work. Any help guys? i genuinely cant play it yet :(

It could still be loading when in the black screen so try waiting it out.
