Just shows you how absolutely useless sentries can be on defense if shit can be easily taken out by a Lerk's ranged attack, especially if the sentry battery is in a spot where the Lerk can shoot at it without being shot at by the sentries.

Everything makes my fps drop except textures on high, but the main hit is from Occlusion, Shadows, Atmospherics, Bloom, its retarded.

Especially richly detailed infestation. Having flat green puke textures everywhere just doesn't cut it if I can have green zits, boils and pimples everywhere.:(
If you can't run NS2 very well I'd suggest the Gamebooster 3. I used it before my computer upgrade and I could actually play the game decently, before I couldnt run it pretty much at all.

Literally all it is on low is just applying a flat texture everywhere that is made to look alien green-ish.
Was there just an update released or something like that? "Refresh" in the server list changed into "Update" and now barely any servers are appearing in my list. I've restarted NS2 nearly 10 times now to see if it'll show me more, but it hasn't. I'm not in the beta update, either.

less you got armor 3 or 2 minimum and you dont need them unless they have oni
you don't even need exo's to beat early onos rush, just get jp's and shotguns/gl's.

It pisses me off when they do exo's first, because jetpacks are godtier for supporting exo's. You can stay alive for so much longer as a welder when you got a jetpack.

Shotguns is the worst weapon against a Onos, LMG does more damage.

1360 damage per 8 shells for the shotgun

1360 is at point blank, the assault rifle empties its magazine faster and reloads faster. Against early Onos it's easier to pursue and kill it with a assault rifle than a shotgun because of the range.

Wasn't aware of the name change.
So since this game came out I have not won a single match. I've played about a dozen games and have not won once.
As we're winning a match with an Onos push, my game crashes.
Why does God hate me so much?
Easiest way to win is to get weapons 3 asap.
Is there ANY way I can make my game show the servers on the list? It still isn't showing and it seems to be working fine for everybody else.

you need armor 1 for fades / avoid parasite+2bites kills
As marine you should always try to get armor 1 as fast as you can, because if the aliens are going fades your marines will get two-stabbed to death constantly.
So, just extracted all the exosuit sound files.
These will be perfect for changing windows sound files with
owned a team so hard 6 of their players just bitched and moaned in the ready room after f4-ing and delaying the game 10 minutes longer than it should have been.
Exo rush ?
No worries, mate... just rush their base with your skulkies or smth.
Exos:
-Cannot be beaconed back
-Cannot move through phase gates
-Are super slow
-Are easy to take down alone, if they are in pack without welders... Gorge will have a boner.
If people will understand it for the sake of god...
You can't base race against aliens if your half of the team is in exos...

Few skulks will take down your 3 CCs before you take down their 1-2 hives.
Anybody know any good ways of optimizing this? My laptop can play most games on near max settings (BF3, Metro etc), but this barley runs
Why does the server browser have to be so shit?
I mean I can find servers, but sometimes the refreshing of it just simply does NOT work and nothing comes up.

That's like saying; All you need to do is make a well cordinated rush on their bases.
Unfortanetly it's not that simple. You can't expect every team to have good teamwork to pull something like that off.
I've never had any problems with the server browser. Its usually just really slow. try removing all the filters and when you update the list just wait a bit. If that doesn't work one of my buddies said that if you create your own game and disconnect it will work, havn't had to try it though.
